Colonial Brick Inn & Suites, Hallstead

It was our first time to visit family in this part of Pa. Not knowing the area, we by chance made reservations at the Colonial. For us its location was accessible to everything that we needed;i.e.:food shopping, restaurant (Dobbs-very good food),ice cream parlor(excellent), gas station, and I-81. The Inn is very clean (a must for me!) with comfortable beds. For the very reasonable price we were very satisfied. As for the review about the view, you obviously should have stayed somewhere else with a pricey view.

we loved the rooms, the service, dobbs country kitchen, everything was exceptional! we could find no complaints what so ever! we will definately return.

Have stayed here for years on my route from Albany to Wilkes-Barre. THE BEST Italian restaurant across the road in shopping center, also food store and State Liquor/Wine. Always a pleasant stay with every convenience at hand and I feel safe there. The "Corn Field" mentioned is your pleasant view!!

The motel overlooks a cornfield on one side and a drive through tobacco shop on the other. The employees aren't very good either. In my opinion the hotel is only open because there isn't another one close by to compete with it.
