NOT a place I would Recommend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/05
When I booked the room, I was rated for a king-size bed in a non-smoking room. When I got to the hotel room, we found that we were given a room with 2 double beds. When we requested a room with a king bed, I was told that when booking through Travelocity, there is no guarantee, and that the only king bed was in a smoking room; so we accepted the room we were given.
The hotel clerk gave another occupant keys to our room, too. While walking around the room after a shower the occupant opened the door-needless to say we were a little embarassed. When we addressed this to the clerk, all he would say is "I'm sorry." When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the room, the clerk mentioned that he could not grant a refund because we booked through Travelocity.
To top it off, our TV wasn't working properly. It seems that the hotel entertainment system was faulty in that room. So late in the night we had to move rooms.
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Atlantic City area. In addition, I am extremely dissatisfied that Travelocity would list this hotel to customers on the Internet.
I do not plan to use this service in the future.
