We enjoyed our visit and our accommodations very much. The room was lovely... comfortably spacious and tastefully decorated.

Bedford Village Inn was one of the nicest hotels I had ever been to. The staff was so friendly and the rooms were clean quiet and professionally decorated. On top of that, the bathroom was meticulous and it was very easy to get comfortable there! I am so glad taht we picked this hotel, I would reccommend it to anyone and I plan on going back.

This was a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Thank you for your kind hospitality, great ambiance and wonderful food. We were also here for our 25th anniversary, and hope to be back for our 75th.

It's definitely worth staying at Bedford. They have nice clean and quiet rooms. I love the location of this place. I recommend it to anyone.

I would definitely go back the the beautiful Bedford Village Inn. I had the best time there. It was truly an amazing experience. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Bedford to stay here. It's worth it.

During a recent unprecedented snowstorm, my wife and I lost power in our home and spent 2 nights at the Bedford Village Inn. The next morning we thought the power might be restored to our home. We discussed the situation with the staff at BVI, as we would prefer not to spend a third night. They explained that if we did not reserve a room for the upcoming night, then the room would be sold as there were multiple names on the waiting list. If we got power back and had to cancel later, they would attempt to resell the room. If successful, we would not be charged. They said this wouldn’t be a problem due to the widespread nature of the outage and the fact they had a waiting list. We took their advice and reserved the room for another night. We packed all of our belongings, left them in suitcases by the door, and left for work. At 3PM the power came back at our house. We immediately returned, removed the suitcases, and checked out. The front desk again stated that they would now attempt to resell the room. During that evening and night we checked the web site several times and all rooms were listed as filled. I also called the front desk numerous times and was consistently told that the rooms were sold out The next day we received the receipt in the mail and we were charged for both nights. I contacted the manager. He agreed that they never made any attempt to resell the room and we would be charged the full amount. I fully understand the fact that the agreement states that checkout time is 11:00AM, and that when a room is not sold, BVI loses the full revenue. But the fact that they did not make any attempt to sell the room, after giving us the advice in the morning demonstrates a clear lack of integrity. I would expect them to do what they say. After spending $400 for 2 nights, I might have expected them to cut some slack. But, we are now asked to spend an additional $200 for a night we did not use and they could have easily resold the room. Don’t spend your money with an organization that is so unprofessional. There are plenty of better choices in the area! Avoid this place.

Employees had keys to our room and the rings were gone when we got back from the wedding. The wedding party had rented out the whole hotel and we had a sense of security that our belongings were safe. We later found out the woman who did turn-down service had a criminal record for credit card theft. The owners are unwilling to take responsibility and have had 6 months to do so. Do not stay here. I am not a disgruntled ex-employee I was a traveler who had a great deal of wealth taken from me at this establishment after we rented the whole facility. My right as a consumer is to warn others.

We went here for a special event. Ordered hot tea to start as it was cold and rainy out. After 5 attempts, gave up, they couldn't even bring us hot water. The meal just went down from there. Appetizer was over seasoned, and the entree tasted like it was cooked on a grill that had just cooked pork. We use to love this place, and now we will never go back. Time for new management.

I attended a wedding at the BVI. The woman working the front desk seemed to be less than enthused to be dealing with us. Less than friendly or accomodating when dealing with them during our stay and even before arrival. There were only 2 bartenders to accomodate the wedding and one was in training. Service was slow and sloppy. The next day the gentleman working as host at the 9am breakfast was so rude we ended up leaving. For the high prices they charge they should be a little more friendly and accomodating. Or at least friendly at all. I would never recommend this Inn to anyone especially for their wedding. The rooms were quaint yet over priced and for all the asthetic New England charm it provided, a little of the charm from the staff would have been appreciated.
