Description

With its luscious gardens and courtyards, as well as its very comfortable over-sized rooms, this grand hotel with old Thai decor makes you feel like visiting royalty. The entrance lobby revels in its own decadence, with a small orchestra playing most afternoons and early evenings. Its stunning grandeur transports you to another time. The hotel was originally called The Peninsula, hence the Peninsula Plaza across the street, but today it is part of the Four Seasons chain. It also houses the best restaurants in town. The numerous services and amenities at Four Seasons Hotel in Bangkok can spoil you to the core. You can leave your naughty brats in the able hands of the babysitter, relax at the spa, sweat it out at the fitness center, stroll in the garden and laze at the poolside. That is not all; get a massage in the spa or guestroom, savor the food at the restaurant and chill out at the lounge. Business executives can conduct meetings, use a fax, printer, photoco pier and computer, hire a car and cell phone, check emails or surf the Internet in their room and avail of translation services too.

safe and nice
By Dianne O, 6/12/07
I like the all the staff especially the lady on th front desk (day time). The men were courteous.. The place is situated in a little compound were upon waking up at 8 in the morning, nearby fashion stalls were bustling with ladies uhh pretty pretty dresses. You can almost horde everything to your heart. The hotel is really a walking distance of every necessities of travel...money changer, 7 elevens, malls,...Im going back to that place, im sure.

Great Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/1/06
I had just had a wonderful stay at the Four Seasons. The room was excellent and every single member of staff was efficient and charming. We also thought the food in the Spice Market restaurant was beautifully presented and very reasonable priced. The breakfast restaurant was extremely good. It has a very well-equipped fitness suite and large outdoor swimming pool, which is quite large but was little used when we were there. The hotel is conveniently located near to the Skyway station, and there are lots of shopping malls very near. In fact it is in a busy location - but this is Bangkok. Where isn't busy? I have been to Four Seasons in the Caribbean and this didn't seem too different. It's a great base while you are in Bangkok. Go and enjoy.

Can't complain about a thing
By John, 9/11/05
Last time I was there they were starting to renovate the guest rooms, which I am sure will only add to the appeal of one of the city's top three or four establishments. Top three or four in Bangkok would be off-the-charts extraordinary in most cities. I love this place, having stayed frequently over the years. The pool and pool deck are an urban haven. Get one of the few cabana rooms that overlook the garden. The Italian restaurant is great, the Thai restaurant is great, and the Japanese restaurant is great. The gym is beautiful. For a modern building it comes a lot closer to grand-hotel ambiance than you would expect, and the gardens and orchids and art just add to the feeling that you are somewhere special. The Skytrain's proximity now means it's really convenient, too -- as well as being a short walk from the city's shopping hub, not a small consideration in a hot, congested city.

Excellent hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/05
Overall, Four Seasons hotel is good with grand design and the breakfast buffet is delicious. But the restaurants are overcrowded especially in the morning, in which it makes hotel guests feel uncomfortable. The swimmming pool is a little bit frustrated with her size. But the front desk' service is very helpful; the room is completely perfect and the room service is highly professional.
