Hotel Yamuna View, Agra

If you're a foreign visitor, this hotel is not a bad option. I would however recommend the deluxe rooms over the standard rooms as they are comparative to other 5 star establishments. The standard rooms are dirty, not well appointed and the bathrooms are disgusting. The deluxe rooms are however, very well appointed and the bathrooms are luxurious, clean and fancy (marble panels, nice toilet seat and sparkling clean shower). This hotel offers good value. We were able to negotiate a decent discount at checkin which ended up costing us about INR 3000 (US$60) per night vs. the published rate of INR 5000. The staff is eager to help and provide tourist advice. The restaurant is OK, nothing too special, but not bad for being a government run hotel. In conclusion, I would deinitely stay again due to the decent rates. I would definetely get the deluxe rooms or suites.
