Dhaka Continental Hotel, Dhaka

Although we did not stay here, we did go several times for the food and the shopping. It is a beautiful hotel and everyone was very helpful.

PROS: ==== * The BEST in-house restaurants in Dhaka i.e. Vintage and Bithika. * Centrally located, very close to shopping areas, relatively close to downtown (~15mins) and most other places. * Friendly, helpful staff * Recently renovated, fantastic lobby and new decorations * Excellent rooms, amenities * Huge Carpark * Easy access to public transportation, taxis, etc. CONS: ==== * About 45 mins from airport (but they have airport drop/pickup service) * Relatively small pool and gym - although the food at the poolside restaurant is fantastic

Dhaka has very limited hotel accomodation of an international standard. The Sheraton claims to be 5 star but would hardly qualify as 4 star in most other cities in the world. Massively overpriced for what you get. The food is average and very expensive. Rooms are very small. Pool is ok. Gym has very old equipment (but they are planning to build a new one soon) and men and women have to work out seperately! Pros are that it is safe and close to the centre of Dhaka (Mootijheel). If you have to stay in Dhaka near the city choose between Sheraton and Pan Pacific. If you need to be near the airport/Gulshan, then the new Radisson is the best option.

this a very nice hotel. decoration very nice. food cheaper than other 5 star. hotel room rent cheaper. anagement good. staffs very friendly. room ecoration fabulous, luxurious, comfortable.sound polution fro road is the disliking

It is one of the best hotel that i ever seen. It is awsome.

Awesome! It was too much. Prices very reasonable. Excellent food.... haven't really eaten anything better in my one week here. Facilities excellent - pool, ballroom, gym.... everything was just about right!
