Hotel des Iles, As Suwayrah

My friend and I pre-booked, only to discover late at night when we arrived, they denied our reservation, despite having a confirmation. The front desk staff sent us into town (two women by themselves late at night) to find a computer to prove our confirmation. When we came back with the printout, they still denied us a room, despite being empty. The staff were rude and callous. I can't rate the room, because we were never able to stay there. Maroc is just magic and the hotel des iles makes it even more so Essaouira I hope is still unspoilt although I suspect that since my previous visits things have changed That is why I am returning for yet another visit to one of my most favourite places on the planet My lovely hotel des iles must still be the same splendid place I love it
