Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Mombasa

Despite of several complaints with regard to the standard of cleaniless, drilling works on Sunday afternoon in adjacent rooms, unavailable duty-managers, restaurants open late for dinner as staff needs to chat nothing happened. you do not matter as a guest there. had to buy myself spray to get rid off cockroaches, mosquitos and dudus. whenever you are forced to visit there please take all stuff with you one might need for outdoor-camping and the biggest portion of patience you have. the best there is the security-guard Mr. William Grey and the boy at the entrance Mr. Fernando. the gardeners are doing a good job. all others give you the impression that you are not welcome.

Spent Holiday last Dec 2011 & /New year 2012.First Good impression of Hotel starts at the main gate bill board and well kept grass. Service at reception was quick and were in our room in 15minutes.Rooms are clean and bedding are changed daily and in some cases more if kids go to room from beach in middle of day and put sand on them and room floor. *Food is prepared quickly on request and it is worth it and tasty. Dinner has varieties of food, vegetables/fruits, red & white meat and sea food. Fact is that chef, cooks and others have done good job to ensure all in 300 bed hotels are served and eat whatever is requested. *Kids section and games calendar is fine to keep them busy all day and away from parents or guardians. *As life style changes large numbers of locals and from neighboring nation are also part of holiday tourist unlike some year back. This is good trend. *For me this is first time in living memory i spent more than five days inside one place ---- Hotel compound and time moved fast. Wish Sarova Management and Staff all best and hope to come again in near future....

Men this place is awesome.Did not spend there but had a meal and surveyed most part of the hotel and l guarantee anyone wishing to visit the place to expect the best.Bravo

The place is one of the best places you can stay in Mombasa. The beach is clean and the view from the room is amazing. The room are well maintained and they have mini fridges and coffee makers where you can brew your coffee in the room. The Food in the restaurant is also good and they offer both western and African food.The Coco discos also got me grooving most nights and the DJ is fabulous. its not very far from Nakumat and Msa town so getting around is not a problem. Sarova standards are maintained thought out and isa truly refreshing African Hospitality! Ms. Njigua

i stayed here for 5 days an 4 nights ,i have stayed at nice hotels in major cities an beaches all over an this is as nice as i have seen,the service an help was excelant an the food very good,just a beautiful place,great for kids an adults

Well I didnt stay in the rooms at Sarova Whitesands but we went there for the resturaunt after a glass bottom boat ride. It was my first time in Mombasa and I thought that it was the best place in the world. I didnt quite like where we where seated in the resturaunt because it was right next to a little pond. There were bugs flying all around us and me and my brother are like really terrified of all sorts of bugs. That was the only downside. We didn't go swimming in the waterpark/pool because that is not what we had come there for but if I were staying there I would give the pool/waterpark five stars. I was kinda upset because there were no cats like at the Reef Hotel because most of the cats were really nice and I love animals. All in all I thought that this was a nice hotel.

i liked everything the swiming pools and the wave surfers the fod and the service

Had a gr8 time staff waere really helpful and friendly. The Spa faclities were excellent. Every night was a theme nite excellent food and atmosphere. I am going again this Christmas!!!!!

A tropical paradise where the sea and land are embraced in a timeless romanance. As the waves lap the white sandy beach, the lush palms whisper with evey breath of the sea. Bikin spreads by blue lagoon (swimming pool) are bewitching. The management should put a hazzards notice for male guests that reads; "sin zone".

I'm 13 and this was the best hotel I have ever been too! The rooms were so nice, the swimming pools were amazing - they had diving boards, slides and everything! I made loads of amazing friends there and we spent every night at the co-co bar at the disco or something! The food was really nice aswell. 5/5 I really want to go again! xxxxx
