Do not stay at this hotel

This hotel is marketed as a luxury five star but is more like three star. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.
the decor is faded and reminds you of the 1970's as is the "gym" which consists of two cycling machines (none of which work) and a running machine that is quite frankly dangerous.
The worst thing about this hotel is the food. The five star breakfast consists of fake orange juice, stale bread, eggs swimming in water, tinned chipolatas and tinned fruit. Thankfully we only had to endure the breakfast but we made the mistake of eating at the hotel restaurant one night. The food was worse than school dinners, with tinned spaghetti and a tomato sauce that was like soup for the vegetarians and for us meat eaters a fish pie that had a mysterious crunchy film on top and a hair for extra measure. More stale bread and tinned fruit...need i go on any further. For this delicious meal we were charged 48 euros. A complete rip off considering we had eaten fantastic three course meals with wine for the same price in the local restaurants.
We complained at the cost of this meal and offered to pay 20 euros for the plate of fruit and three stale bread rolls we could stomach. The attitude of the staff on reception was shocking for people who are suppossed to be trained in customer service. No apology was offered and instead we were accussed of trying to get a free meal! When we pointed out that others had complained to us about the food we were told "whatever".
