Balmoral Inn, Biloxi

We stayed at the Balmoral Inn several times before Katrina until we switched off to the Grand in Gulfport. After the Grand went under in the storm, we haven't been back since. But our daughter and brother-in-law got married in Biloxi and wanted to visit, so we booked back into the Balmoral Inn. Different owners, but the place was still fantastic. You get just bedrooms in casino hotels, but this place had a spacious living room as well and a large refrigerator. It is still located right next to a nice mall and is very quiet -- except for the train that comes through Biloxi every once in awhile. Another negative -- we didn't need the room cleaned the after the first night they were there but I guess they thought we didn't want it for the following day so they didn't do it -- which was a little frustrating. The landscaping could improve a bit as there is still some junk laying around, but it is still a great place -- and just $75 during the high season on Beach Blvd. with a great view!!!

My family along with myself, were very pleased with the Balmoral Inn. Mr. Mike is very pleasant & informative host. The location is very secluded & quite. The walk to the beach is less than 5mins away. The room was very clean & spacious; compact dish washer, 4burner stove; dinning table, full size refrigerator w/freezer on top. Nice closet space. The bathroom was a nice size with a tub & a removable shower head. Nice size closet with shelves for grocery The grounds are keep very well as with the Pool area. There is no room service, BUT you have open access to laundry room for towels, shampoo etc. There are washing machines and dryers for personal laundry. I am very pleased & would recommend this location to family and friends. I am happy to say I will stay there again but next time with my sweetie for a more private vaction. It was a great place to stay. Very pet friendly. Even though one of my dogs accidentally went for a swim in the pool, nobody seemed to get upset. The view was great. Staff was very friendly and Mike was a charm. We will definitely be going back again.

I found the montel online and made reservations because they accept pets. Once there, I was overwhelmed. Balmoral Inn was everything that Mike described and more. We are going back in the fall and I've already requested our room again. What a treasure! What a find! Keep it quite!

I've been staying at the Balmoral for about the last 15 years. I guess i never wrote a review for my own personal reasons. i didn't want the world to know what a gem I had found. I've stayed in bungalows, rental properties, and casinos.Then I stayed at the Balmoral.I would not consider anywhere else now. It's clean, quiet, centraly located to major attractions and it's a history buff's dream town. You can see the ocean from each and every room. How cool is that! Mike (the owner) is a national treasure in itself. Invited him over like you would an old friend. A former school teacher with a very modern philosophy. You never know what to expect but you can bet it will be entertaining If you somehow run out of things to do, New Orleans is an hour to the west, and Mobile an hour to the east.

My husband & I recently stayed at the Balmoral Inn and what a lovely surprise!!! The owner, Mike, is SOOO nice and accomadating -- quite a character too!! I will NEVER again pay the high prices I have paid on the coast. The grounds & pool area are lovely, the rooms are extremely clean, it is very quite, bed was very comfy and the location is excellent. If you are looking for a "home away from home" while traveling this is the place to go. I will definately go again and recommend it to my friends. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay Mike!!!

I have stayed at the Balmoral Inn many times and will deffinitly stay many more! It is very clean! Very well maintained! Perfect for a family! Mike is the best and you will surely feel at home! I wouldn't blow my money staying anywhere else thats for sure! My children love it as much as my husband and I do!

I loved the Balmoral. While we only stayed one night, everything was clean and well kept. Waking up to look out the window at the ocean was great. Would love to come back when we have more time to spend in this beautiful area of the Gulf Coast.

Ive been going to the Balmoral for about 8 years now.Its so comfortable.The pool is big,but not too big. The location for the Balmoral is perfect,not too far from the beach and is in walking distance of the mall. Its really a great place to stay with a family.I would recommend it to all of my friends.
