Baymont Inn & Suites Cortez, Cortez

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. Location was great, close to good restaurants, and shopping. All in walking distance. Breakfast was good. Many choices. Would stay here again, if in the area.

We just spent a week at the Baymont Inn in Cortez and had a very pleasant time. Room was very clean, as was whole facility. Did not use the pool or hot tub, but looked well maintained. People at front office were very friendly and efficient. Had some problems with a few loud teen-agers on the balcony one night, but one call to front desk handled it promptly. Would certainly recommend to anyone. (No bugs seen for the whole week, so don't let previous comment regarding this alarm you) Large assortment of items for breakfast, including hot waffles.

The price is right. We were able to bring our dog with us and they had very few rules. The regfigerator in the room did not work and I was told I could not get another or move to a room where one worked. When I asked for things like a news paper or sheets and a blanket or anything it seemed that they were having trouble getting it for me and they are not organized yet since they just changed ownership. Overall I would recommend this motel since there are not many other choices in Cortez and I did not see any others on the main strip that I would prefer. I chose this place due to reviews on line. So I wanted to add our two cents worth.

...to this great hotel with "city style efficient service" and small town rates and PANORAMIC VIEWS of Mesa Verde and 90 minute drive times to MOST of the major attractions in the four corners area - we are impressed!
