What a place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/07
We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house and the food was first rate. The innkeeper is a first rate cook and the breakfasts were amazing!!!

BB that we'll pass next time

We stayed one night at this bed & breakfast. The house is beautifully decorated located on a hill. The neighborhood seems somewhat run down so it's not a place that you want to walk around at night and dining selections in the immediate area is limited. Also, I was not aware that there is a restaurant on site. Though the inn keeper cooked and served us breakfast which was very good. The room is tidy except for a few stains on the furniture and the carpet. Overall, there were several things we weren't satisfied with. For check-in we waited for over an hour outdoors before the inn keeper returned to the house. Apparently, when we rang the bell, the person cleaning the place did not hear us. Also, there was no body soap and was told that they ran out and we can use the handsoap instead. We were not informed of the checkout until 10 minutes before we were supposed to do so which was at 11 am and that housekeeping will come knocking on our door in a few minutes to clean up since they have someone checking into the same room. Therefore, we ended up rushing to get out and didn't have a relaxing time as we had hoped. Overall, it wasn't the level of service we expected for the cost.
