SO BOOKED, I cry until I get a reservation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
The price is right, perfect location, great service, very clean, quite cozy, and love the upgrades, especially the owners. If anyone has found fault with Wildwood Inn, I say "Shame on You." Personally, I would stay no where else, they are number one on my list! What more can you ask for? Come and join the friendliest people, and relax, and kudos to the owners. Hopefully I can get MY RESERVATION THIS WEEKEND, so I can stop crying. I miss you guys!!!

I'll be back!
By Whit, 09/02/08
I work in Twain Harte twice a year and have stayed at the Wildwood Inn for many years. Since the new owners Vic and Aleta have taken over, it just gets amazingly better every year. All of the furniture, towel racks and every detail have been handmade by the owners. Even beautiful lodge pole benches to sit outside your room and enjoy the view of the pool, flowers and the forest. The rooms have new beds, coffee maker, microwave and frig. Wow, it use to be very run down and I was considering not staying there anymore before Vic and Aleta purchased it. The pool area is landscaped with beautiful flowers and the pool and hot tub are always nice and clean, such a pleasure to take a hot tub and swim after a hard days work. They even have nice big plush pool towels. So nice to be able to just park your vehicle for the weekend and walk to all of the shops and restaurants. Great JOB Vic and Aleta! Thanks will be back next year.

Best place on the mountain1
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/08
This place is really great. Everything is clean, new and comfortable. The owners have renovated all of the rooms in handmade log furniture. Its just beautiful! Very comfortable beds, real homey. If you haven't been here lately, I suggest you give it a try.

Curb appeal isnt everything
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/06
We stayed for the first time at the Wildwood, only because our 1st choice (Eldorado Motel) was full, from the outside it looked great, once we entered our room it looked like a repainted room from the 70's,and for the price we paid ? I have stayed at much better for the same or less. Nice people, the spa wasn't open, the beds were as hard as a sheet of plywood, tossed all nt. as my title states, Curb appeal isn't everything, and in this case it sure wasn't!

Very Nice, Clean & Comfortable
By Randolf, 07/12/06
I enjoyed my stay at this motel very much. The room was like new, and the bed was firm. Bedding was OK but not like the canvass sheets one finds in most motels/hotels. I would certainly recommend this for a place to stay. It's not the cheapest but the value is outstanding. I noticed they were renting bicycles right at the hotels as I was leaving.

Wonderful!
By B, 04/27/06
I'm a repeat guest of the Inn. I've always enjoyed my stay but more recently when I returned to the Inn I noticed all the upgrades and wonderful improvements they have done. It's even more charming and nice to stay at. I will return again soon!

Clean but expensive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
I've stayed at the Wildwood before and it is cleaner now. Its relatively close to Dodge Ridge which makes it convenient. The rooms appear to have been repainted but they are too expensive. You can stay at a quaint B&B or cheaper and get the same service/room.

We'll be back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/05
The Wildwood has new owners that are remodelling and renovating the entire property. If you've been before, you really have to go back. They've done a great job. And it's the only hotel right downtown. You can walk to any restaurants or activities. Their new beds will be arriving the first week in December or so.
