9 reviews for Clark's Motel, Geneva
Clean, comfortable and spacious!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/09
We spent two nights at Clark's Motel in Geneva on a shopping trip to the nearby Waterloo Outlets. We found this motel through TripAdvisor and Yahoo reviews. It was really inexpensive ($61 US per night) for a large room with two double beds. The room even fit a single airmattress we brought to accommodate our third person and had plenty of space left over for our luggage and new purchases. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and spacious. A good 15 minute drive from Waterloo Outlets but it was in a scenic location. Would definately stay again and recommend to anyone who simply needs a place to lay your head for the night.

Would Stay Again
By Mary, 07/19/09
The rooms were very clean. The lawn was very well kept. At night it's quite and the beds are just like being at home, so we were able to sleep very well. We live in Fl now but Geneva was our home town. We never knew what a nice place that it was!

We will stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/07
We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean and quiet setting. The owners were so friendly and we were pleased after a long ride to be able to check in earlier than normal. We wanted to stay an extra day but unfortunately there was no availability. We will plan better next time. I recommend this motel if you are looking for a very good value for a nice area, clean room and safe stay.

from Canada to Geneva NY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/07
wow what an amazing deal in the Finger Lakes district. This was my second trip to Geneva..the first time was to a much bigger hotel/motel outside Canadiauga (sorry if I spelt it wrong) that was not nearly as clean and bright and comfortable as the Clark's Motel. One of my friends beds at the other place actully caved in. But the Clark's Motel for the price is a truly amazing gem. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are super big and very clean. The beds were so wonderful and the decore was very tastefully done. If I ever go back to Geneva I know my husband and I will be staying at the Clark's Motel. Oh and the grounds are very very well cared for too.

Will definitely stay here again !
By Elle, 04/30/07
If you'd like to step back into yester-year, this is the place for you! Extremely clean, freshly painted rooms, more spacious than most typical (& higher-priced)hotel/motel rooms. Very serene & quaint. Our room #7, even included an extra little room behind the far wall, with a single bed and night stand w/lamp. The main bedroom included 2 large beds, T.V., A/C, plenty of lighting & storage space. Plus, the beds were very comfortable. It is located in a very pretty park-like setting with beautiful trees & a well-manicured lawn. Chairs provided outside, to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Hated to leave! Will visit here again, next year. Oh, "and the price CAN'T be beat!" A big "THANK-YOU" to the owners! Sincerely, Elle & Bill 4/27 & 4/28 2007

Nice Place To Stay
By VINCENT, 03/02/07
We were there in the summer of 2006 and stayed for 2 nights. We found our room to be very clean and cozy. The owner was very nice and hospitable. We plan on being back in the area this coming summer and plan on staying there again. There are nice restaurants with short driving distances that we enjoyed also. This is a nice place to stay and at a good price.

Excellent value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/06
I agree with the first reviewer. The rooms are quite large, cheery and very clean: some have a little alcove with a TV and armchairs or a sofa. We especially like the large property, huge trees, gazebo and picnic table. There is no phone on the premises and no pool but we aren't looking for those amenities. The place may be basic but it is nice and comfortable. There are a few restaurants within walking distance like Taco Bell, Ponderosa and a classier, more expensive place called the Cobblestone but you would have to drive to go elsewhere. You could also walk to Tops and buy a fresh pizza, roast chicken or salads.

Tiny rooms - expensive - no facilities
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/06
Rooms are tiny and you have to drive to anything to eat.

We stay here 3-4 times a year.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/17/05
This motel is a throwback to the original motels, a strip of rooms across the parking lot from the office/home of the owners. There are chairs outside each room, and a nice yard with a little gazebo. Each room is decorated differently. This is a very basic motel. The rooms are clean and spacious, though the bathrooms are a little small. There is a TV with cable, but no telephone. There is a pay phone outside. There are no ice machines, but if you want ice, the owners will give you a container from their kitchen! We stay here every time we go to Geneva to visit relatives. It is perfect for our needs, as it is close to our relatives, restaurants, and shopping. . We are mainly interested in a clean room with a comfortable bed. There are 12 units, some smoking, some non-smoking. We especially like Unit #9. It has a king-sized bed, and a little corner with a couch, Tv, coffe table, and lamps - a nice little "living room". The motel is open from April 1st to Dec. 1st, and the price is very reasonable. It ranges from $35. to 48. Again, this is not a fancy place with alot of amenities, but if you are looking for just a nice place to sleep, this is it.
