Colonial Inn Motel, Mercer

Located just outside downtown Mercer, the Colonial inn is typical no-frills lodging. Like many post-War motels, it has a nostalgic charm which counter-balances the lack of amenities. In the plus column, it's cheap and clean. On the minus side, the proprietors have at least one baby, for whom they appear to discourage any late-night arrivals. Or late-night anything. There is coffee in the lobby in the morning, but you don't wan't to drink it. Trust me. Still, overall, a decent place to stay if you find yourself in Western Pennsylvainia.
