Villa Rosa Inn, Palm Springs

It was most recently my pleasure to have spent a weekend in Palm Springs at the Villa Rosa Inn. Nothing fancy-schmancy. Just an adorable little villa from the 50’s with a private courtyard filled up by a swimming pool, palm trees, bougainvilleas, flowering plants, and singing birds galore!! Cozy. Quaint. Meticulous attention to detail. The MOST relaxed and trusting Innkeeper I have ever come across! The rooms were simple, upgraded from their 50’s era origin. There were more towels and pillows than I could have ever used waiting for me in the room upon check-in. What a treat not to have to ask! A full kitchen was nice but not really needed as Jay, the Innkeeper, had a lovely breakfast for guests every morning. We were woke up by the sound of an orchestra of birds singing and chatting everywhere. The days were spent just laying by the pool doing nothing at all but sipping champagne, listening to the birds serenade us and watching the hummingbirds flit around our heads! We did somehow manage to extricate ourselves from our little paradise to go to dinner in town. HIGHLY recommend!

Great place to escape and unwind. It is a quiet, quaint resort, very small. So if you are looking to party this is not the place. We brought our dog (German Shepherd) and stayed in the Suite #7 - almost like a small apartment. Private Patio, you can BBQ. We will be back AND ignore review by Debbie posted in November. From what we understand by the owner and a review posted on TripAdvisor.com from some people who were there at the same time as Debbie. They had 2 small dogs who continuously barked, all day and at night. And it was disrupting the stay of people who wanted quiet. If you bring your dog make sure your dog is not a constant barker. Because all who go here want tranquility, which is what this place is about

We loved the charming little suite that allowed us to bring our canine kids. The pool was wonderful, nicely heated and surrounded by palm trees, flowers, humming birds and a view of the nearby mountains. The location was great too. The residential neighborhood was quiet and beautiful for walking the dogs but Palm Canyon was only half a block away. Loved being close to Koffee for our morning fix and the restaurant at ACE --- try their chili and BLT flatbread. Yes, we'll be back.

We didn't like it. The rooms are tiny and outdated. It advertises as being dog friendly. We brought our dog with us and were asked to leave when the dog barked. This was a long awaited and much needed vacation that was cut short when the owner asked us to leave because our dog barked.

The Villa Roas Inn is the perfect place to get away from it all. Beautifully landscaped gardens attract hundreds of hummingbirds. Mountains serve as a backdrop view while relaxing by the olympic size pool. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the inn keeper maintains an impeccable inn, complete with a wonderful, continental breakfast. Charming . Chris Lapienski Pompano Beach, Florida

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. The owner is friendly and helpful, rooms are cozy and grounds are stunning. Very relaxing!

What did I like about Villa Rosa? Let me count the ways!! It is the ultimate Bed and Breakfast. After travelling in U.K. we had a high standard for B and B's.. Villa Rosa met that expectation and exceeded. Excellence for value, excellence for charming character and tasteful decor, excellence for breakfast and service and kindness abound!! A must stay for Garry and Sandi and two pooches. Oh!! this is a pet friendly and ever so immacuate and clean and perfect.
