Grand Motel, Hastings

This motel was very reasonable priced. One of our co-workers however experienced very bad service in the people were rude and unbending and her room had bedbugs. The room was clean for the most part. The bathroom had no exhaust fan and therefore was extremely hazy coming out of the shower. The shower took several minutes to get hot and the shower head was not very good. The heater/air conditioner did not work on all settings. We stay in many hotels and we WILL NOT BE USING THIS MOTEL AGAIN!!!

The room was completely new & remodeled i was in. The cleanest room I've stayed in all year! I am on the road most of the year, and a clean room with friendly service is a plus. I highly recommend the Grand Motel to the discretionary traveler.

This place is a dump. The first night we stayed there, The first thing i noticed was the smell. it was very run down the bathrooms had Three inch caulking all around the walls tub and sing and mold in the caulking. when i went to wash my hands i notice there was no hot water. went to take a shower the hot water would not even turn on . and when i turned on the cold water the came out before the spout. so i called the front desk and they put me in a differant room. this room looked better but still smelled bad and there was hair all over the sink . but the good thing was we had hot water when i went to take a shower this time the water came out before the shower head again. oh did i forget to mention that the mantince guy showed up and he was only 12 years old.on the third day we were about to leave around 10:00 am i was sitting on the edege of the bed putting on my shoes and the cleaning lady just opened the door and did not even knock. and the last thing was my nose was concested all night untill we left the motel . and last but not least we fount little red bugs in the bed.

a run down old motel. The "pool" was filled in with dirt and weeds. The room smelled funny and the bathroom door did not shut. Seems like they have "locals" that lived there. Very run down. Although they were nice people who own the hotel, it really needs some work. We travled with kids and they were too scared to sleep. The neighbors were sitting outside drinking their room drinking and yelling in Spanish.
