Super 8 Lakeland, Lakeland

Room was not clean. Mold around the tub faucets and the drain was corroded ( didn't take a shower in that) Scum around the sink faucets. Dust around the baseboards and on the base of the lamps and on the chair cushions. The smoke alarm was hanging out of the wall by a wire. Extention cords were used to plug in to many items. One of the outlets had a prong broke in it. The elevator and luggage carrier were fifthy like the room. This motel is a safety hazzard and a health hazzard. The absolute worst Super 8 I've ever stayed in. It makes me want to give up on staying in any of the Super 8's. Also I had trouble getting my Wyndam points posted to my wyndam account from the attendent. Attitude and very unprofessional

I stayed at the super 8 hotel lakeland, TN at the end of January 2009. The room was not well maintained and the bathroom had a very bad mold problem. After staying one night I later found a unauthorized charge on my credit card for $50.00 from this very same super 8 and to this day I can not contact the billing person at the super 8 and no one on duty will answer my question about the unauthorized charge. The charge to the credit card is in dispute.

The room was grubby. It needed some minor maintenance and some major cleaning. The bathroom had lots of stains everywhere (toilet include), and the heater made a ton of racket all night. OK for a place to crash if you don't mind a little grime, but we won't go back.
