loved our stay would stay again

From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly. The person at the counter was very friendly and had great personality. Was probably the best place we stayed all summer for the price range. We reserved 6 rooms for a wedding. All 6 were together. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Beds very nice. only complaint is not refridgerator in room but since we had a cooler that was not a problem. Kids loved the pool. and we all loved the breakfast except could probably use a waffle maker for those that dont like biscuts and gravy. Really want to thank the staff we were treated very very nicely.

Very Nice Place!

We checked in at 6pm and had a great hotdog off the grill. They have them everynight! The staff was great, rooms were great. Breakfast and Dinner were great! What a great stay we had. Good location and all! I reccomend this hotel.

Just Left the Hotel - We'll miss it!

What a great place to stay! The pool is very nice. Everything was really Clean! The staff knew what room we were in, and went out of their way for us. The breakfast was good. Beds were really comfortable. Just a great place to stay!!!

Would Definitely Stay Again

We booked four rooms and were very happy to find out that they were all together (this doesn't seem to happen very often anymore). The staff was very friendly and the front desk attendant even called a nearby restaurant to let them know that we had a group of ten that were hoping to have dinner there to make sure that they could acommodate us. There was a mall a couple of minutes away and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were there for a tournament and they had copies of directions to both bowling alleys and to the casinos available. Very glad we chose this hotel.

Needs Help

Western Inn could use a little help. The service was of the staff was very good but the Hotel itself could use some upgrades. Even though the rooms are very Big the beds were small, old and flat "Very Un-comfortable". The expanded cable does no good when Tv is old. The remodeled pool area does not have a Hot Tube that whould have been handy after walking the Zoo all day. Also note there is no elevator which would have been nice when you have several bags. Clean enough for overnight stay but wouldn't make it a weekend vacation spot.

I had booked my 2 queen room online. A couple days before leaving on the trip I called and confirmed. The hotel had me down for 2 double beds (instead of 2 queens) Oh Well couldn't fix that! Says there is a hot tub, there is none! Value for the money was terrible. My room had 'Garage Sale' furniture. One of the 'office' chairs by the table had something white crusty dried on it, nasty. Weird but unique shower stalls.

good for the money

I loved the free cookies every afternoon. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was minimal but still filling. I had to stay outside Omaha for the NCAA tournament as most everything was sold out. This place was a bit hard to find but very convenient to the freeway. For a 2 1/2 star motel it was worthwhile. The spa was boarded up.

Old Fashioned Service w a Smile!

I can't believe how friendly the staff were at this motel! They were wonderful! I will stay here every time I need a room in the Council Bluffs area! (I've begun to think that friendly staff only appear when they have a commission to make, a boss standing over their shoulder, or if I'm in a $500/night room!) The room was very clean. The pool was clean. The lobby and eating area were clean. There were even chocolate chip cookies at the desk when we checked in! When I asked for extra towels, they were given with a smile, and no complaints about how many we wanted to use. And, as a bonus, we could have our small dogs there! :) I definitely recommend Western Inn!
