Don't recomend

We booked a cabin for our anniversary, the pictures do not show how really small the cabins were and how close to the highway it is, but for the price and being just two of us we thought we would try it. the cabins are in need of updating, and you need a class on how to run the shower. It shut off completely on my husband since it has an anti scalding unit attached and he wasn't taking that hot a shower. Also there is no air conditioning and it was not mentioned any where on their website. Most of the time it might not be bad but this weekend it was hot and very uncomfortable in the room . The desk clerk suggested we leave the windows open the 2nd night to help cool down the room. There was a small oscillating fan that made an incredible amount of noise and helped very little. The cabins were so close to each other if you wanted a little privacy you couldn't leave the door open and with no screen door the bugs all came in. When I mentioned to the clerk we would be checking out due to no air conditioning she offered another fan but we decided to cut our losses and find a place with A/C. The clerk was able to credit one night but would need to check with the owner about the credit for the last night and after waiting several months and not receiving a credit or an answer from the owner regarding the credit we have decided not to plan on receiving one. We ended up at the Motel 6 down the street for the same price and a much nicer room with A/C and microwave and small fridge. We even had coffee , tea and hot cocoa available 24 hours a day.
If you just need a place to sleep it is ok, but don't recommend if you are planning a family trip or romantic getaway.
