Moonridge Lodge, Lakeside

Visiting from Yankton South Dakota with my girlfriend, the Managers were very nice and accommodating, nice cabin, we liked the feel of home. The gardens were in full bloom, very pretty. Pinetop-Lakeside is beautiful, great lakes, restaurants, and wildlife.

We stayed here for a family reunion. The managers were very nice and accommodating, taking the time to provide information about things to do while we were there. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was nicely furnished and very clean. We had plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. First cabin we've stayed in with a dishwasher...a plus with a big family. We will stay here again.

This has to be the worst place I've ever stayed at. I came here 2 years ago and it was perfect. Things have changed completely. The cabins are so dirty, I wouldn't let a hooker stay in there. It's nice to see that this place is on sale because whoever owns this is a slum lord. I don't recommend ANYONE to stay at this SLOP HOUSE!!!!!

We booked a cabin for our anniversary, the pictures do not show how really small the cabins were and how close to the highway it is, but for the price and being just two of us we thought we would try it. the cabins are in need of updating, and you need a class on how to run the shower. It shut off completely on my husband since it has an anti scalding unit attached and he wasn't taking that hot a shower. Also there is no air conditioning and it was not mentioned any where on their website. Most of the time it might not be bad but this weekend it was hot and very uncomfortable in the room . The desk clerk suggested we leave the windows open the 2nd night to help cool down the room. There was a small oscillating fan that made an incredible amount of noise and helped very little. The cabins were so close to each other if you wanted a little privacy you couldn't leave the door open and with no screen door the bugs all came in. When I mentioned to the clerk we would be checking out due to no air conditioning she offered another fan but we decided to cut our losses and find a place with A/C. The clerk was able to credit one night but would need to check with the owner about the credit for the last night and after waiting several months and not receiving a credit or an answer from the owner regarding the credit we have decided not to plan on receiving one. We ended up at the Motel 6 down the street for the same price and a much nicer room with A/C and microwave and small fridge. We even had coffee , tea and hot cocoa available 24 hours a day. If you just need a place to sleep it is ok, but don't recommend if you are planning a family trip or romantic getaway.

I go there all the time, to get out of the City. The Cabins are rustic, Clean and the managers are very friendly. They have turned this place around completely.

We've came to Moonridge a couple of times from Utah while we we're visiting relatives in Pinetop. My sisters and I love the Place because of it's location, Value and Cleanliness. We've checked other resorts prices and nothing compares to what you recieve at Moonridge. The staff is very friendly. We hope to be back soon.

The people who left 7 negative reviews in one day must have been from Beverely Hills, California. This ain't no 90210 Marriot! These are rustic, very clean cabins sitting in the beautiful White Mountains where you can get away from the city and spend time with your family. The new management has turned this place around a full 360 degrees. My wife and I have stayed here 4-5 times and have always been fully satisfied. The managers have always been accomodating. To the person who said there was know toilet paper...Maybe you should have went and asked for more when you ran out. There are always people out there who are never happy and never satisfied. You can't beat the prices here, very affordable. Don't let the negative reviews stop you from trying this place out. Come and make your own judgement.

Our familia comes up 2 times a year. Once in the Summer and once in the Winter. Sunrise Ski Resort is only about 30-45 minutes away, and there are around 10 lakes very close to the Lodge. The lady at the front desk is always very friendly and accomadating. The Cabins are always clean and service it top notch. We will continue to visit this great vacation spot.

My Family and I go there all the time. The managers always make our trip a good one. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and the value is the best in town. We look forward to our next visit.

Gross place to stay. It was filthy dirty. The only thing we enjoyed was going outside where you can get fresh air and enjoy the trees. We should have brought tents because that would have been nicer then this place.
