In a word - HORIBBLE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/10/09
After setting up a reservation for my wife and mother in law for a 2 night stay, the lodge said they only had one night on record, when they arrived. We had the confirmation number and the name of the person that had confirmed our reservation to which the lodge basically said 'tough'. They did end up getting a smoking room the second night after a long discussion. To make this worse, my sister in law had arranged 2 rooms for her family and there was only one room available to them when they arrived. She had confirmed the reservation THREE times prior to arriving. When a hotel cannot get reservations correct, the most basic and one of the most important parts of running a hotel business, I really have to wonder how and why these folks are still in business. Completely unacceptable. Not only am I never returning, I am hoping that I can convince others to stay away as well. Although this review requires a star, I wish to comment that as far as I am concerned it doesn't even deserve that....NO STARS FROM ME.

Insects and a back ache
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/09
To start with,, the temperature was well over 100 when I stayed there so the room started out VERY hot. It took quite a while to cool down. As I went up the stairs to go to my room, there were spiders hanging from the ceiling. After fighting my way through the webs I entered my room. I was getting my stuff situated when I noticed 2 ants on the bathroom ledge. I squashed those and started looking around. I found a trail of ants coming from behind the pedestal sink to the tub. These are the little tiny ants that remind me of fleas. I ended up stuffing soap in the ccrack they were coming through and that seemed to do the trick. The bed, I am convinced, is a leftover piece of concrete from a demolition site. The furniture looks as if it has been kicking around a second, third or fourth hand store for quite some time. Well, I think you get the idea. I tried to save a few bucks and now wish I hadn't. There are several hotels/motels in this town that you could do much better in. If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would.

Would never go back
By slumom123, 01/31/09
We stayed here for one night on our trip through Oregon, only because we were sent here by another hotel who "lost" our reservation. We had a room in what must have been the "OLD" section. First, the dead bolt didn't work, second, the sheets and towels were almost see through, third, the carpets were filthy, and finally, the toilet didn't flush (plunger was right next to it...also an indication that there had been problems) Let's just say I'm glad I had my Lysol wipes. We had no choice but to stay there, because all of the other motels called had no vacancy. Maybe the newer section was better, but I can only speak for our room. Couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning, and I'm glad we only stayed for one night.

We should have known we would not be pleased from the start. Poor quality of service and uncomfortable beds. OLD, OLD furniture. I literaly sunk in a chair as the seat fell off!

Excellent Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/06
We stayed at this hotel on a trip to Oregon and I recommend it. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and roomy. It had a king size bed, a sofa, a desk, and a three seat dinner table. The bathroom was impecable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys five-star quality at a three-star price!
