Econo Lodge Mifflintown, Mifflintown

Those of us who regularly travel across the mountain appreciate a convenient stop-over. I have stayed several times on junkets to the emerald city and have consistently found the rooms clean, the service friendly, the safety measures reasonable. Nothing fancy. The bathrooms are spacious with a big counter, showers/tubs are small. Ground floor rooms have entrance to inside hall and outside. Parking is convenient to room. Rooms have microwave and fridge. There is microwave popcorn in the vending machines. There is a decent truck stop restaurant on the premises. The motel offers discount coupons on breakfast, and free, brewed coffee in the lobby. Easy on/off 322. Easy drive into Harrisburg. Gas at the truck stop is as low price as I've seen lately.

It probably would have been fine, but in spite of reserving a non-smoking room, we were put in a smoking room that absolutely reeked! They were booked full and couldn't move us and the best they could do was a bottle of Febreeze -- no accomodation on the rate.
