Wonderful place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/1/09
I have stayed here the last 4 years when I visit RMNP. The cabins are wonderful as well as the rooms in the Sunday house. Very reasonable priced, extremely clean, wonderful staff in a nice wooded setting with easy access to the park and the town of Estes. The cabins are fully furnished with everything you need and daily clean towel service. Dave one of the owners, is helpful and sweet. I have stayed in 2 different cabins and found both to be delightful. The Sunday house rooms all have a fireplace with a microwave and small fridge. Far enough out of the town it has some peace and quiet with the sound of the Fall River running right by. I am already booked again for this year.

Clean, Reasonable, Friendly
By Melissa, 1/19/09
This is an outstanding facility. We stay in the Sunday House at least once a year and have never been dissapointed. The owners go out of their way to provide friendly service, the rooms are always well kept, and the price beats most other lodging in town. Finally, as others have mentioned, Amberwood is in an ideal location--whether you are there to visit Estes Park or RMNP, or both.

Great vacation cabins and hospitality
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/07
The cabins are very cozy with the interior giving the atmosphere of being in the mountains. The mountain landscaping gives the cabins a natural setting with beautiful mountain scenery. The hospitality is exceptional. They are always courteous and willing to help at any hour. The cabins are well supplied, especially the kitchen. At Amberwood,we have seen elk, mountain sheep, deer,a variety of birds, and a bear during our stays. We have stayed here for our honeymoon and family vacations. Amberwood has given us great memories. It will always be our first choice.

Perfection in the Rockies!
By Roger, 11/1/05
Possibly one of the best kept secrets for lodging while in the Estes Park area. Conveniently located approximately halfway between Rock Mountain National Park and the town of Estes Park, this little hideaway is immaculate and staffed by some of the most courteous, caring folks you will find anywhere. Room rates are very reasonable and the accomodations are spotlessly clean. Little "extras" that you would expect to pay for at other establishments are included here. If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet atmosphere with a wonderful view of the mountains at a reasonable price, then look no further!

Would stay again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/05
Great location for RMNP and for Estes Park! Nice clean cabin that our family (Mom, Dad, 2 young children 5 and 7) thoroughly enjoyed. Convenient yet still in a natural setting! We choose it via the web and we were not disappointed. A tad pricey but worth it. Great staff, quiet setting, sufficient room (space) and well equiped kitchen area. We were all very happy with the setting. Our kids first visit to the Rockies, we wanted a natural setting not a noisey playground. We were not disappointed. Would come back with or without the children.
