Crosby's Motor Inn, Apopka

Staff is super-friendly and always willing to accomodate whatever needs we may have---from directions, entertainment ideas, etc. Not a "fancy" place but incredibly clean. Perkin's Family resturant and Chillis are both within 1 block of the motel. One traffic light down from Hwy. 429 so very accessible.

The quoted price when we made reservations was $69 per night. When we arrived we were informed that the price would be $79 per night. Our reservations were for a non smoking room. Non smoking was posted on the door of the room but it was filled with a stale cigarette smell and had cigarette burns on the edge of the tub. It was far enough from Disney to be less expensive and very close to the turnpike.

We go back every year or so for two nights to visit the Mt. Dora boat and antique festival in March, which is always a lot of fun.
