We booked this hotel last minute and were very pleased to see our room. Our room was spacious, neat and very clean. The sheets and towels seemed new as well. The view from balcony was awesome. The pool was very clean as well, plus the continental breakfast was great. The owners were very friendly and willing to help. I would recommend this hotel very much

I stayed here with my 2 young children. Oou last night a man starting bangin at our door at 1:30 in the morning, then proceeded to bang at the window...my children and myself were very frightened. I called the front desk and the man at the desk responded, "I did not give him a key so just don't open the door!". I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR STAY HERE AGAIN!

Nice Motel

I stayed at this hotel with my friends on a weekend ski trip and it was an amazing stay! The hotel clerk and staff were extremely friendly and kindly offered to help us plan our activities. They were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and where to get the best rates on ski rental packages, as well as the best places to shop and how to get the deepest discounts!

Never going back!!!!

I don't understand where these good reviews came from?? This place was so dirty! We found a bug in our bed, mold all over the ceiling. The little fridge that is on the floor leaked so you had to step 5 feet from it so your feet didn't get soaked. The pool was gross, the room smelled. Spend the extra $50 for a nice place to sleep, I wish we did!!!

One of the best value hotel I've been to!

I travel a lot. I have been to a lot of Hotels/Inns around the country and this is by far one of the best. Rooms: Spacious, Well lit, In Room Facilities Available Facilities: Pool, Games for kids, A huge backyard if you just want to relax or read or just enjoy the sun, and TONS OF MOVIES to rent! I definitely recommend this place to everyone! The price is reasonable and the people are great!

I suspect all the great reviews for this place are the people that own it. Don't believe anything it says. The place is so far from recently renovated, it is not even funny. Everything smells and is dirty. there were bugs and stains. enough said.

Have been going there for at least 15 years or longer!

I have been going to the Swiss Chalet for at least 15 years and perhaps even longer than that. It has always been very pleasant for me in every respect. The scenery, privacy, clealiness, and service. I was very disturbed to read a negative review regarding cleanliness. I do not believe it to be true. I would suspect that it is probably a disgruntled customer trying to be vindictive. Probably someone who wanted a refund on a last minute cancellation and did not get there own way. When I arrived this year the screen slider was broken. Jay (the owner) was unaware of it since the previous customer did not tell him about this. He fixed it immediately upon my arrival. I would highly recommend the Swiss Chalet to anyone without any hesitation and I always have recommended it to many people.

We stayed there from Oct 5 to Oct 7 the Columbus day weekend of 2007. We had booked in August 2007. 2 weeks ago I had read some reviews about this place and I has started to think that we are heading into a bad vacation. Nothing of that sort happened. On our way, we lost our way and the lady on the phone patiently guided us till the Hotel. The rooms were clean and smelled of some pleasant freshener. The place was in awesome location. Our balcony looked to a beautiful hill. We were just in time for the fall foliage colors. I am posting a few pics from the Hotel. The hotel is spread on a huge size lot, and looks pretty and homely. The fresh waffles and coffee served free for breakfast was something that adds to the plus points. The old style pantry/kitchen was lovely. The staff at the front desk were very helpful in guiding us where to go and how to have the most of our time. The location of the hotel was perfect. Not right on the busy RT16. Still, it takes just 1 turn and you hop right onto RT16 to go to so many places. N Conway, Mt Washington, Story Land were very near this place and it saved us lot of time coz of the proximity. We would surely come to this same place if we go to White Mountains area again.

Excellent Resort

Very good facility which is constantly improved. Been there severl times and love it. Newly renovated rooms and pool enhanced our experience further. Staff is friendly and breakfast is modest. Can't find better value in the Mount Washington Valley

Excellent place for fun with the whole family.

I love the service, staff, price and breakfast every morning. All the people were very friendly and extera ordinary. We had such a great time when we stayed in Noverber 15 & 16, of 2006. We had also went to SANTA Village, which is very close from the hotel. I can't wait to go back again!! Best place to stay over and over agin. I will visit every year...
