great value, aesthetically pleasent
I've been there twice, once in 2005 and again 2006 and will probably return. I've stayed at better places but I have never stayed at a place as nice as this for the money. In fact, I've spent twice as much at other places and didn't think they were that much better of a place to stay than here. It's real charming, it's very clean, it's a sort of cozy feelin' that other places, particularly chain hotels just do not have. You have to walk to outside to get to the indoor pool, which I was happy about. It might have been why we had it to ourselves since it was probably about 50 degrees out. It helped give it an 'outdoorsy' feel. The staff were nice. They may have or may not have been very knowledgable, I wouldn't know since I tend to do my own research and not leave my faith up to the knowledge of others. They were accomodating when it came to getting extra pillows and things of that nature. If I remember correctly, they do not cook breakfast, however, there was plenty to eat, cereal, fruits, danish ect which suits me fine since I do not wish to wait to be waited on when I want to hike, ski, or what ever. Also, there's a little room with a fire place and they have board games.
No dislikes on my part.
