Always go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/26/07
The place was really nice. We have gone to this hotel for 4 years. They have a nice breakfast, fire, hot chocolate and warm cookies in the afternoon. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. The pool, and hot tub are wonderful!! We have always been happy there!

great value, aesthetically pleasent
By JD, 05/17/07
I've been there twice, once in 2005 and again 2006 and will probably return. I've stayed at better places but I have never stayed at a place as nice as this for the money. In fact, I've spent twice as much at other places and didn't think they were that much better of a place to stay than here. It's real charming, it's very clean, it's a sort of cozy feelin' that other places, particularly chain hotels just do not have. You have to walk to outside to get to the indoor pool, which I was happy about. It might have been why we had it to ourselves since it was probably about 50 degrees out. It helped give it an 'outdoorsy' feel. The staff were nice. They may have or may not have been very knowledgable, I wouldn't know since I tend to do my own research and not leave my faith up to the knowledge of others. They were accomodating when it came to getting extra pillows and things of that nature. If I remember correctly, they do not cook breakfast, however, there was plenty to eat, cereal, fruits, danish ect which suits me fine since I do not wish to wait to be waited on when I want to hike, ski, or what ever. Also, there's a little room with a fire place and they have board games. No dislikes on my part.

Going back again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
My husband and I spent our 3 year wedding anniversary here. We went in October and loved it. The pool was clean as well as the rooms. There is an awesome restaurand Chalet Fondue right up the road(a must try) We are returning there again for our 4th anniversary because we loved it so much. We were out to dinner and had a phone message so they taped it to our door to make sure we recieved it. I hope to post another great visit:)

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/05/05
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I FROZE IN MY ROOM DUE TO HARDLY ANY HEAT AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A BLANKET THEY HAD RUN OUT. BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN PLEASANT, BUT THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD, EXCEPT FOR WARM JUICE, COLD COFFEE AND ONE 5 DAY OLD DANISH! I WAS TOLD THEY HAD A SNACK MACHINE AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE TWO GUM BALL MACHINES! FIREPLACE WAS NOT LIT AFTER 9 PM. THE POOL HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AND SHOWED SIGNS OF ALGAE. THE MANAGEMENT WAS COLD AND UNCONCERNED ABOUT ALL DIFFICULTIES. NEVER AGAIN!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

The perfect country get away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/05
I loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. Both kitchen and the "living room" of the hotel were equipped in lovely fire places. Breakfast, which was served early morning was a dream come true, you never tasted better croissants in your life, as well as danishes. Coffe, tea, coco, soda and orange juice were available twenty four seven. Room service is curteous and pleasant. The inkeepers were very knowleadgable about the area and always answered all the questions with pleasure. The overall stay was excellent, definitely worth the money. The surroundings of the hotels were amazing, and you are only a mile away from the ski area.
