Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort, Bradenton Beach

Location is fine on lovely Anna Maria Island. Sorry we cannot be more positive, but we were disappointed in the size of the room for three of us - no way to get around that open sofa bed so we rearranged the furniture. Did not care for lack of fresh linens and blankets. Second day our room was not cleaned until we were trying to dress for dinner. Our grandkids enjoyed the heated pool. Management tried to help but could not find a larger spot. Wish I had understood that a mini-kitchen did not have stove. Will be more careful in the future.

The location of the resort was excellent, while the service was far from it. The check in was about an hour late. While the initial service was good, as we moved up in management to the director of operations we were treated quite shortly, almost as if it was not work the trouble to them. The cleanliness was about average, while the rooms are also your average hotel room size, while larger suite size rooms are available. The value was fairly good for the location as well. I guess the main complaint was the management. Definite room for improvement.

Nice location..private clean beach, nice rooms. Walking distance to bars and restaurants....great sunset. i have stayed here 8 times!!Many types of rooms to choose from. Also wave runner, skooter and sail boat rentals.

I really love that it's right at the beach. Just across the street actually. It's a beautiful area to visit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. I would'nt mind that they spent more time on cleaner bare floors and kitchen areas. It's Satisfactory but has room for improvement. Our over all experiences over the years is out right fantastic. Yes sometimes it's expensive but is'nt that what vacation with the kids is all about. Letting go for a short while. And really enjoying that very sparce and special time with our kids. :) Oh yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we are going back this year. Thanx Silver surf...:)

There was nothing to dislike about the place, I enjoyed my stay there and The place was nice. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were plenty big. The beach was across the street from the hotel and was beautiful. We went to the peer which was down the road and it too was pretty. I was disappointed that I couldnt stay but one night but the next morning I went to many places to see the island. It is beautiful. When the hurricanes came through It bought back memories of the resort and I was praying that it would be ok and the people there would be safe. I am so happy I went there. and cant wait to go back.

i loved the location of the hotel and thecurtious people there. I didn't like the prices for the motor cycle bike things the were to expensive for me.

We have been going to the Silver Surf for almost 10 years - we consider it a home in paradise. The staff always makes sure it is a great experience!!! Best deal on Island!
