Perfect, Beautiful views and the staff is amazing!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/13/11
I hear about Red Bud Valley from a co-worker who went there 16 years ago and talked about how amazing it was. When we decided to down size our wedding( us and just our parents) RBV was the first place I thought of. The pictures on the website don't do it justice! The Staff was wonderful with the little details and we booked the date only 3 weeks before the Big Day. On the day Kim made me feel very at ease and took some wonderful pictures taking her time to work with us. After the wedding time in the cabin (15) was amazing between the large comfy bed and huge bath. Spending time on the porch in the morning watching the deer who came by was just the icing on a wonderful time at RBV! Can't wait to go back for our one year Anniversary!

Amazing Wedding
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/4/11
We got married here on 4-30-11. Everything was perfect and amazing. Kim was our planner and she took care of every detail. she took some pictures for us and wasn't afriad to get in there for the perfect shot. We stayed in cabin 11 and it was more then we ever imagined. the bed had about a foot of pillow top, the heart shaped jacuzzi made me want to bath 24/7 and the view from our front porch was beautiful. We woke up every morning just to watch the hummingbirds. We will definantly go back as soon as we can!!!!

Wonderful, Relaxing and Beautiful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/5/11
I was delighted with the Southwest Cabin! My husband and I had our kids and a cousin along for the trip. It was such a fun, picturesque and comfortable cabin. There were so many extra touches that I was surprised to find. The Christmas decorations were very pretty and tasteful, the wood and firestarter each day was a nice treat, and the overall cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! However, our favorite thing about Red Bud Valley Resort was the network of hiking trails on the property. We really enjoyed hiking every day and canoeing on the pond as well. Red Bud Valley provided a canoe and paddle for guests; we enjoyed it each day! The kids loved being outside, smelling the clean air, seeing deer, and playing in the woods. It was nice to be able to watch movies in the evenings in front of the fireplace. Overall, a beautiful vacation, only too short!

Beautiful Wedding...Beautiful Scenery!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/10
Kevin and I put all of our faith and trust into Red Bud Valley Resort (RBV) for our October 23, 2010 wedding. We found them searching the Internet and didn't want all the hassle that goes into planning a "big" wedding. It was a decision b/w two different places, and after talking to RBV the first time, I knew without a doubt that is where we wanted to go. The lady (Tandy) was exceptionally nice and answered all the questions that I had. She offered a lot of information as well. The actual planning of our wedding was incredibly stress free and smooth, with most of the interaction via email - saved me some time from talking on the phone, etc. They kept in touch and I even sent pictures of what I like as far as the bridal bouquet and cake. When Kevin and I arrived at RBV - our Cabin (7D Honeymoon Suite) was more than what we could have ever expected it to be. The colors of fall were amazing, the bed was absolutely comfortable and the jacuzzi was totally relaxing. Watching the sunrise/set on the swing will never be forgotten. When it was time for the wedding, everyone kept asking if I was stressed and my answer was honestly "no". RBV made sure that everything was PERFECT. The new location on the hilltop with the breathtaking view was a place that couldn't have been captured anywhere else. There was no need for a "rehearsal" as this is a fine-tuned group and even with a chance of rain, knew exactly what to do! After the ceremony, we went to the reception building which was so elegant and perfect with the colors of my wedding, down to the theme using pears. My bridal bouquet was exactly what I wanted, even better. For anyone wishing to have an outdoors wedding, and a very stress free wedding...please look into RBV - it was AMAZING IN EVERY ASPECT! We can't wait to go back for our anniversaries!!

Our 2nd trip there and Wonderful!!
By john, 8/28/10
We were there from 8/21 thru 8/23 2010. Celebrating our First anniversary in Cabin #11. Spent our honeymoon there in 2009. "Our" cabin was just as we had remembered it ... very secluded, very inviting. You have to be there to understand all the rocks around the cabin that others have written on. Its just such a cool feeling to see "your" rock still there and write on it again. The staff is the best ... they don't bug you .. you really feel like you are staying in your own house. If you want to cook you can. But if you want to go out you are only minutes from town. Bed is Very comfortable, jacuzzi is wonderful. Sitting on the front porch and hearing nothing but nature is a blessing and blessed escape from the city. Yes you can stay in town for cheaper at a hotel ... but really why would you? If you are truly looking for a get away from the city this is the place to go.

Already planning a return trip!
By SocialKim, 8/22/10
We stayed in Cabin 6, Country Sunshine, for a long weekend. We were in town for a nephew's wedding and the wedding party and several out of town guests also stayed here. The cabin was clean and very well furnished in a charming updated country look. The kitchen was outfitted well enough for us to cook two dinners and two breakfasts in, although be sure you take everything besides pots, pans, silverware and utensils. If you don't like handwashing dishes, bring plastic and paper products! Coffee, filters, sweetener and creamer packets were provided although we stopped off at the local grocery for our favorites. Full sized fridge meant we didn't have to worry about keeping groceries cold. Microwave and toaster were also in great working condition. No blender, so if you need one, bring one! There is no Walmart or other large discount store in the area. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful and able to give tips for local restaurants, events and places to see. Fruit and cookies available in the office lobby and bug spray on the front porch. It was peaceful and tranquil. The big screen tv was nice but only got 2-3 stations. There is a dvd player so bring movies! Front porch nice for rocking and there were literally two spotted fawns resting on the grass outside of our cabin the first evening. Saw them again with Mama the next night! Cell service was spotty except for one guest's because the cabins are in a valley. Once you are up and out to the main road, no problem at all. The only negative I can give you about the cabin is that the bathtub is an older model, clean but a dark chocolate brown. It made for some very dark showers since the light just could not penetrate! Shower is also very slippery but there was a matt rolled up under the sink which helped tremendously. Beds and couch were very comfortable although we didn't pull out the couch for the one person who slept on it. One thing that would have been helpful would have been an extra blanket in the closet. We had brought two throws for the car and used those instead. I'm sure the office would have provided one if asked but by the time we thought of it, it was late. The throws worked well and we didn't bother to get one for the other nights. Definitely a great place to stay! Our cabin had two beds, a full and a queen, plus the couch so plenty bit enough for a family. Base rate for 2 is $99, $10 apiece for every guest over that, max occ 6. There are definitely cheaper places to stay but for cleanliness, quiet and a full kitchen, this was a bargain. We're already planning a return trip in the next month to six weeks.

A White Christmas
By Granny, 1/23/10
In 2009, in lieu of gifts, we took several of our family for three nights in Red Bud Valley beginning Christmas Eve. There were eight of us - mostly young married couples. Arrived Christmas Eve. Christmas morning we awoke to a blanket of white. We were in the Executive House and the view down to the lake was breaktaking. Deer around most of the time. It was very cold, but there was a fireplace and the young men enjoyed keeping it going. The kitchen furnishing were absolutely fabulous. We had turkey, dressing, etc. - the traditional Christmas dinner. The first place we ever stayed that had enough storage (pantry) space for all the "stuff" it takes to cook away from home. There were plenty of lovely dishes, some with seasonal patterns. The kids loved the hot tub. One of the most vivid mental pictures is of them running across the snow and up the steps through the snow, barefooted. The feet went directly to the fireplace to get warm. The grandchildren (young marrieds) enjoyed being together as they do not live near each other. We will likely return, but probably not in such numbers. One of the grandsons has made reservations for he and his wife to celebrate their anniversary later this year.

The perfect family getaway!!!
By Teresa, 12/20/09
There wasn't anything we disliked about our experience at Red Bud Valley Resort. We stayed in the Executive House (Dec.11-14)...it was great. Absolutely everything was included in our price, i.e. fully stocked kitchen (all appliances, dishes) fire wood delivered to your door everyday, washer and dryer, the list goes on and on!!! It was all the comforts of home and the view was spactacular. Staff is wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely return for future visits. Thank you!!!!

Always enjoyable!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/13/09
We have been going to RBV since our children were small 20 years ago. We've stayed in various cabins and enjoyed each of them for different reasons. Since no one could come to our place for Thanksgiving, we took Grandma and stayed in cabin 6 for 4 nights/5 days. We needed peace and quiet and were not disappointed. Everyone read and slept to their heart's content. The cabin was recently renovated beautifully. The icing on the cake was the view (from the porch) of numerous deer each morning and evening. It is a long way for us to come, but we love it everytime.
