Park Hotel
The Park Hotel is a modest resort in a very popular vacation hot spot. The other hotels in the near vicinity seemed to be nicer physically, both inside and out. The hotel looks more like a motel that you might find in the States, with towels hanging over the rails. The food in the restaurant was very good. The pool is nice, but is surrounded by high, overgrown trees, so you cannot see the Adriatic from the pool area. The room accommodations were basic - nothing special -but clean. There was no air conditioning and it was very hot when we were there. We had to keep the windows open, even though there were no screens. Luckily we were not bothered by bugs. The best part was the walk down to the Adriatic where there were rocky cliffs. The sunset was spectacular. The beach area is completely composed of smooth rocks that tumble to the water. Lots of clubs in the near vicinity for nightlife. Watch out for bats when you walk in the evening.
