If you are in your early 20s don't stay here. As soon as they found out we were 21 their attitude changed. They Put us in a room away from anyone elses in a dark alley in the far corner of the hotel. We felt like we were being watched like we were children.

it was great. i loved it so much i want to come again, year after year after year. i will reccommend it to all my friends.it was absolutely fabulous

Location: near Corteney street, which is the most excingting street in the city with a lot of pubs and restaurants, just minutes of walking to the Te Papa, New World (the biggest food store in the city) Room: there's wide range of choice, from single room to 4-bed apartment. If you travel in group of 4 people, you can save much money by sharing an apartment with 4 beds, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom with only 120 NZD (about 90 USD). Good room service: they could wash all dishes that you left from last dinner! besides, there coined-operation laundry machine avaiable for your self service.

This is just on the edge of the main part of town, which makes it very convenient. You get parking included, which is key in the city. There aren't any views to speak of, but the rooms were charming, with kitchens in room, and an upper loft (though watch your head, ceilings slope drastically). It was the perfect point to walk to the Te Papa museum, to me the best part of the downtown.
