Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort, Tucson

After three stays at the Hacienda del Sol, my days of searching for a great business traveler's hotel are over. The service, food, and location are outstanding and immediately apparent upon arrival. Whether from a long flight or tough business day, staying at the Hacienda puts me right at ease. The rooms are quiet, even the one right over the bar where outdoor evening live jazz is enjoyed. The comforts are first class with many of their homemade spa products available for purchase. A sunset dinner can't be missed from the all glass-walled dining room. Perfect for business entertaining or a romantic getaway (I've done both!). Located in the Catalina foothills, the Hacienda del Sol is right perfectly situated for other attractions to downtown, airport, local businesses, and a variety of outdoor adventures like my favorite, Sabino Canyon for rock climbing. Rates vary depending on the season but worth the little extra you get from a well-trained staff, a fabulous chef (he makes a perfect duck flambe), and a thousand other little attentions to detail that makes the Hacienda del Sol a home away from home for the weary business traveler who has earned a high quality resort stay for his hard work.
