Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/07
This place is a dump, pretending to be something more than it is. The hallways were stinky and the room was faked elegance. Unfortunately, we had paid for the room before we saw it. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, and refused to stay there -- they kept our money. Shabby all the way around.

Can't wait
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/06
As a wedding present, my husband and I were treated to a wonderful room with a huge jacuzzi. The room was spacious, nice and so very clean. Very quiet, great for a romantic weekend or evening away. The staff was so nice and courteous, they even opened the kitchen back up for us to eat since we didn't get to eat much at our reception! Since that trip we have gone atleast twice a year, one trip especially for our Anniversary. They still have the most friendly staff even with the new ownership. We hope that they decide to keep it open and running. Can't wait until our next trip.

A Wonderful Surprise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/05
We reserved a room at the last minute due to a family emergency and no other available rooms in town. We were not sure what we would find. The Westminster Inn is a renovated 1900 school house with a great resturant and lounge complete with live music. The rooms were clean and well furnished with big fourposter beds and the bathroom was spotless. The people were helpful and friendly from the young lady at the front desk to the bartenders and waitress's. Everyone went out of their way to insure good service and we appreciated it. I can not understand the lackluster reviews already posted, but I understand that the Inn is under new ownership and that might account for the difference in the hotel described and the lovely Inn we stayed at. It was well worth the $100 a night and we will return just for the pleasure of it.

Shabby digs, nice people
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/04
Expensive and disappointing. N/S rooms across a street, parking lot in series of shabby houses. Shown one room smelling of mold, another with a labyrinth of doorways, fianlly ended up in a room in main inn with no windows and a concealed emergency exit door with no stairwell lighting! No place to pull in, no help with bags. But really nice people stuck, it seems, on a struggling ship.

My Review
By M_n_M M, 07/12/04
For the price we paid ($195 a night) I was disappointed. The room was nice, however I am 6 months pregnant, we were on 2nd floor and no elevator. The first night we went to use the jacuzzi and it had 2 features, 1 for the jets, the other for bubbles. The bubble jets did not work. The next morning I informed them of this (I mean come on I stayed there for that feature...nice while pregnant, and of course no bubble bath worked without the bubble..jets that did work on the side only..so I could of used bath at home and used shower jet and sprayed myself on side with same effect.) We also received a free breakfast..ha what a joke. We go in it is a library..not a restaurant (ok maybe to classy for me I don't know) but I didn't feel to well so wanted bacon and toast..well guess what they couldn't find the bread for toast. Now take in mind the woman who did the front desk, waited on you, so this was not like a restaurant. We went out did our activities for the day, came back, sure enough the bubble jets weren't fixed, nor did they offer another room for us. Next time I will stay at the Days Inn or something, least you know what you getting for your money then. Needless to say for the money we paid I was terribly disappointed.
