Best place to stay in Corydon!
The Kintner House Inn was built in 1873 and has been beautifully restored! My family of 4 stayed there in March 2006. This bed & breadfast inn has 3 floors of historically recreated rooms that are beautifully decorated. We stayed in the "Squire Boone Room" on the second floor, which has two double beds and a gas fireplace. The beds are so high you need the step stool to get into them and they are very comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the sheets had a high thread count. My family is exceedingly allergic to dust & mold, and we had no problems breathing or sleeping in this room. The breakfast is excellent! They have a "help yourself" large breakfast buffet in the dining room at 8:30am (coffee, tea, juice, several different cereals, several egg & meat casseroles, several types of sweet breads, cheesy grits, etc.) Plus you can have free coffee, tea, & cookies anytime of the day! The hostesses are very helpful and dressed in period costumes.
