It was exceptionaly clean. Breakfast room was clean and fully stocked and the omelettes being made when you asked for them were really really good

ask lots of questions

was not warned about a teens church group. 100 teens no real supervision. they ran us out of pool area, ate all the breakfast were loud and rude to us. in our rush to leave to go to another hotel we forgot phone charger. manager said she couldn't tell us about the group since we booked through a third party smoky mountain resorts, but i also called them. she offered us 20% off our next stay to add insult to injury. we stay in pigeon forge 7 or more times a year and have never had this happen before. will never stay here again.they are very unprepared for large groups especially at breakfast. the second day the breakfast lady said there was nothing left to put out at 9:00a.m. its suppose to go till 10:00. the teens ate everything again. plenty of other hotels to use.

Would not stay here again.

Stayed here for the weekend of the Bristol race. Will not stay here again. As soon as you walk in the door the smell of chlorine from the pool is over whelming. When getting on the elevator to go to our room, it sounded like it was going to break down. And that was everytime we rode it. When we walked into our room the air conditioner was not on and with it being 94 degrees outside we found it hard to breathe. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. The furniture in the room looked worn. When folding down the sheets of the bed there was a big light brown stain on the comforter. The pillows were flat. In the morning you could here EVERYTHING going on in the rooms and hall. From children screaming to couples fighting. I have to say that the location was the best thing about this hotel. We went to the outlet stores and also down to Gatlinburg and were very happy with our hotel's location. Close to everything we wanted to do.

Needs some work

Stayed at this motel the weekend of 02/15/08 and am somewhat disappointed when I compare it to other stays at Country Inn & Suites. The room was dingy and musty and even though it did have a mini fridge it was on the floor making it very hard to use. However, they did have a room safe up off the floor which you pay a $1.00 a day even if you don't use it. The bed was not all that great having a burn hole in the a sheet and a mattress that should be replaced. The shower had almost no water pressure and with the plain straight shower curtain, (I like the rounded oness at Hampton Inn) it was hard to take a shower without getting the floor soaked. Even the service was not all that great. Other than my arrival, which even then we had to wait for the two desk clerks to finish talking about non motel issues, we were never greeted when we walked in the lobby. With all the motels in the area I will have to remove this one from my list.

Unclean, unsafe, unhappy!

I travel extensively both nationally and internationally and have yet to find a hotel that was as unclean or unsafe as Country Inn and Suites at Sharon Drive. Upon arrival, the hotel was difficult to find and the lobby displayed outdated furniture and decor. Once in our room, we discovered (much to our disdain) the trash had not been emptied, the coffee pot had not been cleaned, dust was evident on most things, and blood stains were on the blankets. When asked to be moved, the receptionist sent us to another room. Its door, however, was open upon arrival and the door's lock broken. Clearly an alarm was set off in our minds. Do not R.S.V.P. this hotel on the internet. First look at it and request to see a room.

Very nice place to stay

Stayed two nights and can't complain about anything. The only minor distraction was that the bed was a little harder than I like. But the next guy will say it was softer than he liked. The breakfast was more than I expected. Most places put out the usual pastries, juice, milk and coffee, may through in a little fruit. We had fresh make waffles, biscuits and gravy, pastries, fruit and even a capacino machine. What more do you want. The front desk girls were helpful as my wife and I had no idea what we wanted to do. They reccomended a show that was good and told us how to save $7.00 on parking and all the tram hassel at Dollywood. WE'LL STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

nice hotel overall

This hotel is very difficult to find. It is not visible from the road and you will probably have to ask for directions. The only problem I had was that I didn't get the room that I requested. I requested a room with a fireplace and a hot tub. I recieved a room with the hot tub, but the room was very small and cramped. We were also there when they had a youth conference in town. I would strongly recomend checking if there is anything going on, because there were kids everywhere! Not a bad hotel overall.

Once again, this hotel has impressed me. I am writing this review right now from my hotel room! Came in the room and found it clean, clean and clean. Plenty of towels, bathroom floors were clean and I mean clean-not like comfort suites in pigeon forge. I love this hotel! I am giving it four stars, because there was a slight smokey smell-but it disappeared after using air freshener. I recommend this hotel. The high speed internet is great, love it! Price was not bad. Stop here first if your looking for a great hotel in Pigeon Forge!! Staff is friendly too!!

I would stay here again!

I liked this hotel, my wife and I got this hotel with a hot tub. It was great! Places in thee back of the bed needed to be clean, but overall-everything was clean, even the bathroom. Loved the hot tub! Pool looked clean. Wireless internet service was great. I would come back!

We really loved everything about staying here.The staff was great,plenty of coffee and walking distance to plenty of attractions.My wife and i really reccomend this place to everyone.
