No desire to return
By cheryl, 9/29/08
On Sunday ,Sept.28,2008 I attended a nursing reunion here at the Inn. The meal began with a salad that had nothing more than lettuce,I think there was maybe 1 tiny tomatoe in it. The meal was totally tasteless. We were served white rice, carrots and either chicken or fish, whichever you had chosen . The portions were rather skimpy ,the food was luke-warm to cold and all you could smell was the fish, telling me that it was not fresh. One woman at the table could not even begin to eat the fish. Oh yes and dessert it was supposed to be white chocolate mousse and we all agreed it tasted like that old dream whip (if it's still available ) with sauce ontop. Needless to say everyone's dish went back to the kitchen maybe missing 1/2 tsp. We paid $35.00 for this afternoon out and yes it was great seeing people you haave not seen in a long time but the food was lousy. Here's hoping no one choses to have this reunion here again as many might think twice and remember the meal.
