Holiday Inn Exp Grants Pass, Grants Pass

Noisy, in my room too.... we stayed here one night and should have chose the BW next to this place. The room was 4th floor by the elevator and had a loud droning noise all night when the hallway AC turned on... ALL NIGHT.

This was an awesome hotel. The staff is very friendly, outgoing, & helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and has comfy beds & very fluffy towels (I LOVED THE TOWELS). We were lucky to get one of the rooms that overlooked the south end of the city, which at night was very pretty. The breakfast bar is incredible with actual hot items (eggs, bacon, biscuits w/ gravy). The pool and spa are outside, which was not very convienent, but still enjoyable. Easy access right off the freeway and within a block of gas and shopping. For the price we paid it was well worth it. We will definitely stay here every time we pass thru!! If you happen to stop here for the night...River's Edge is an EXCELLENT restaurant!

We recently stayed at Grants Pass after driving back up from CA for a wedding. After blowing a flat tire the night of our reservation, we had to go back to Redding and make accomodations there. The night manager was kind enough to cancel our reservations at no charge and set us up for a night in Redding at another Holiday Inn. When we finally arrived at the H.I.E. in Grants Pass the next day, we received an upgrade to a family suite at no additional charge for two nights. The spa/pool shared with the Best Western is nice and we loved the continental breakfast- cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, oj, coffee... Everything was clean and well-maintained despite travelling during memorial day weekend. Our room, however, was right by the elevator so it was somewhat noisy during the night. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Also would recommend kayaking down the rogue river :)

We made our reservations several weeks in advance, arrived at 4:00 and got the only non-smoking room left, right by the front desk, elevator and staircase. It felt like someone was pounding on our heads. We've stayed here several times and this was the WORST ever. Walls are paper thin.
