fantastic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/07
It was a pleasant surprize, we loved it and would go back, if in Hawaii again. It was a relaxing restful place to stay, close to Volcano National Park, she had items you would need to hike to the lava flow. This is a cottage with a do it yourself, or you can go to her home for a well prepared, and delicious breakfast in the morning.

Storybook B&B
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/05
What an amazing place to stay. When all around the volcanoes is barren, these quaint cottages are nestled in a wonderful garden storybook land. Cottage #44 was like visting a fairyland. This is a compact, fully equipped nest with instant fireplace for the cool evenings, the jacuzzi tub, shower, miniture kitchen and cozy reading nook, front porch and of course the amazing king size bed in full designer dress. Our friends had never been to a B&B before, and they were just blown away. I think we will all be back there. 20 year anniversary celebration from NJ to HI.

Nice place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/05
The room was comfortable and quiet, we loved the property cat, Dixon. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to Volcano and the park entrance are great. The only drawback was that the windows do not have screens, we arrived late and the windows had been open all evening. We had a lot of moths, including one that crawled down my neck giving me quite a startling experience. AC is not needed. We were there July 2 and were able to comfortably sleep with the windows closed. Even with the moths, we would stay there again.
