The Most Disgusting Hotel in Fairbanks

This place should be shut down. My room was horrible beyond description! First, the window was broken out, replaced by a flimsy piece of cardboard held in place by duct tape. It was 20 below zero outside! The mattresses on both of the beds were soaked with blood and urine, the blankets had obviously not been laundered because they smelled of body odor and stale alchohol. My sheets had also been obviously reused due to the hair and blood stains I found on them. The shower backing was being held together poorly with duct tape, and when I dared to look behind it I was horrified by the sight and smell of pure mold and mildew. The carpet was stained badly and smelled once again of urine and stale alcohol. I found a housekeeper (and I use that term loosely) to ask for clean sheets and was told I would have to wait until they were done cleaning their checkouts. She could have just given me clean sheets and I would have put them on myself, but no instead I had to wait until almost four in the afternoon to get the sheets changed in a room I had just checked into. And boy the attitude that housekeeper gave me the whole time she was grudgingly changing my sheets. I heard one of the more professional housekeepers call her by the name April, so just passing on the information so you know that she is very discourteous and should find a job she is more suited to. While I was sleeping a total stranger opened my door with a key! The clerk working the front desk informed me that guests walk off all the time with keys and the owner does not change the locks so there was a chance that multiple people could come into my room at any time without warning. I will never stay here again. I
