Keller Inn and Suites, Effingham

The air conditioner in the room didn't work. The carpet was damaged and unsightly. The odor in the hallway was putrid and many people complained of the same thing. Holiday Inn advertises their "Customer Satisfaction" policy but when we checked out and voiced our complaints nothing could be done because "the manager wasn't in"!! How convenient!! I would never go back there again!!!

It's located right off the interstate with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The people working here were very nice and the room was spotless. I would definitely stay here again. Great job Holiday Inn!

After a disappointing stay a week earlier at the Red Roof Inn in Troy 80 miles West, we were extremely happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Effingham, during our return trip. This hotel seemed to be new or newer and is in a great location near shopping and restaurants that are within walking distance. The front desk personnel were very nice and courteous. Our room was very clean and bright. There is an indoor pool that my kids enjoyed and there is a little exercise room off to the side. The express start breakfast was EXCELLENT! They had sausage gravy and biscuits, mini omelets, fruit, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and donuts. Not your average continental breakfast that's for sure. Everything was fresh and hot and the staff was constantly cleaning and refilling food items. And the price for the stay? $59+tax?! Are you kidding me? What an incredible deal! This will be our stop each and every time for now on! Thanks Holiday Inn Effingham!

The hotel was beautiful, very clean,up-to-date. The staff was friendly and warm. Breakfast was delicious. We'd stay there again. Even though it was next to the freeway, the room was very quiet. We enjoyed out stay.

Our family has stayed here several times. It's our halfway mark to Cincinnati, OH from Springfield, MO. It's very clean, and the staff is very friendly. We like it very much.
