gone downhill

We have visited Maruba several times in the past, and it was wonderful, but things must have changed since then. While the massage and meal were excellent, the food service itself was not good. In fact, we were given a separate bill for the bar and were told that we had to pay CASH for it. Later, when we got back to our hotel, they called Maruba, who could give no reasonable explanation for it. Meanwhile, our cash for that day was gone. We will not go back and are quite disappointed that this jungle spa has gotten so lackadaisical about their guests.
