Hotel needs to spend money here

The front desk person had to do 3 jobs, take calls, check people inn, and run the merchandise store. Consequently, she was a bit short with us when I had a concern. Our suite was very nice but someone before us had burned popcorn in the microwave and stunk up the room. The maintenance person was very helpful and tried to get the smell out and also replaced the microwave. We still spent the night in a smelly room though. No discount offered. I'm not the type of person to ask for one. But that receives a mark-down.
The need to invest some money in updating and hiring.
