Great for Families

We loved the family room- it had two queen beds and another room with small couch that made into a twin bed. Great for family of 5. The pool is great and the minature golf and arcade were a hit for the kids. We couldn't watch the movie as they only had one at the theater and it was PG 13 and we had elementary age kids. Also their videos at the desk were mostly PG 13. We would go back again. JJ's resturant is nice though a bit pricey for families. The breakfast was good but needs to offer a warm egg dish instead of cold hard boiled eggs. My kids think they should add a small train around the area as that is their theme.

My favorite place in Leavenworth!

While Leavenworth has alot of nice places to stay, the Icicle Inn always seems to offer the most for the money. They are the only place in town that have a restaurant and room service in the hotel, massage rooms in the hotel with a regular schedule, and they have the only movie theater in town right next door in their fun center. The free breakfast has a healty selection of meats, cheeses, bagels and pastries, cerials, and Belgian waffles. The Superior guest room I stayed in was freshly redecorated this spring with a great bed and duvet and other nice touches. Next time I stay my friends and I are planning to rent one of their new "Aspen Suites" condo's for a ski trip.

A great place to take a vacation

This place is great! Not only is Leavenworth a great place to visit but the Icicle Inn has so much to do that you can just spend a couple of days there! Our kids love the entertainment park and movie theater, and my wife had a mud wrap at the spa and I had a hot stone massage... it doesn't get much better than that! Try the Friday night Prime Rib at the restaurant. The guest rooms are nice and the whole hotel is non-smoking - I wish more were. While we were there we found out they have free wireless for guests so next time I'll bring along my laptop and maybe stay longer. We're already thinking of trying out their new summer vacation package and maybee adding a family rafting trip!
