Amari Atrium Bangkok, Bang Kapi

No dislikes, Everything was perfect. The room are big and the beds are comfortable. The staff a courtous and helpful. The location was a little out of the way for the night life but that is not a bad thing.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world, but a long way from town although you don't really need to leave the hotel it has everything you could need.

with the unique blend of exuborence and subtlety the amari atrium combines top quality food, service and a high standard of facilities, the choice of resturants, both a la carte and buffet, will satify every taste for young and old alike, ranging from a vast array of exotic styles right the way through to the more familar traditional european menus. the amari atrium is by far the most alluring hotel of its kind, with the staff opitimising all that we have come to love about south east asia. with top class facilities in fitness and beauty therepy as well as the impecible standard of the rooms(starting at superior) even the most travelled of persons will be impressed to say the least. situated on the bank of one of thailand many famous rivers there is a sense of kingship as the views over the grand city of bangkok are breathtaking at both night and day. a hotel for those that are searching for the great heights of prestige.

Good: - perfect breakfast-buffet - Rooms are very comfortable, beds are very good - Nice view to the skyline of Bangkok - Very friendly staff - Very good communication: english and german are spoken - free shuttle-service to some interesting places - good fitness- and swimming-pool-area - location is o.k., subway is near, taxis in BKK are cheap Bad: - prices for beverages are too high

I loved this place because of the wonderful design and employes the service was amazing great for any family or singles the beds were awesome too I had no problem falling asleep.

Fantastic hotel to stay in bangkok,not in the centre but not far from it either,and plenty of taxis outside. The food,bars and service were great,the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice with lovely views, the pool area and outdoor tub were a great place to relax after a hard days shopping. Would recommend this hotel and will definately be back!

I had to stay here whilst receiving treatment at Bangkok Hospital so my insurance agent booked the Amari Atrium for me. The previous night we stayed near the hospital in a far superior hotel (A-1 Hotel)for half the price with breakfast incuded. The rooms at the Atrium were a disappointment, the carpets dirty and after several complaints we got moved up to a room on the 11th floor which at least was newer with good views of Bangkok.If you want the superficiality of Thailand with the false 'wais'and large lobby then you won't complain - probably. I personally found one of the floor managers offensive when there was a problem with the agency who made my booking.There are better hotels around the area with far better rooms and at a more reaonable price. If you don't mind paying 107 Thai Baht for 10 minutes on the computer then maybe you can afford not to complain about this somewhat inferior hotel.
