Via Roma Beach Resort, Bradenton Beach

Very classy place. Grounds are very well kept and units are clean and well appointed. Kitchen has everything you need. The staff is great. The beach is classic. Anna Marie island is an old fashioned Florida beach area. Sugar sands and great pool. Many of the people who stay there are owners and have been coming on their respective weeks for years. You don't really need a car if you use an airport shuttle or other tranportation . There is a free Trolley/bus that runs the length of the Island +plus all the way to St. Armand for 75 cents! Nice grocery close by and qwicky mart within a short walk. What a shame the last poster would make something up about this beautiful family friendly place.

Our family just returned from a week's stay at Via Roma Resort, FL. We had a wonderful experience there. The accomodations were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The pool and hot tub were cleaned daily. Used towels and trash were collected daily. The front desk was always helpful in giving advice when inquiring about different areas of the Island. We will visit and stay there again. It just won't be soon enough!

I have been coming to Via Rome just about every summer for my entire life and I am 23 years old, this is my second home and I am proud to say that it is where I want to get married. The people are all so nice and I love the hot tub and pool. I have seen manatees, dolphins, and even sea turtles hatching right out in front of the resort on the beach. I can’t imagine life without Via Roma.

Let's see...what did I like abou this place? I like that I only had to stay there one night because my group found another place to stay the second day of our trip. The carpet smelled, one side of the fridge was rusted, the ceiling was discolored and falling in in one spot. You have to park across the street from the main building and cross a semi-busy street to get to your actual room. And if there is no parking in that lot then you have to park in an "overflow" lot which is around back of the secondary building near the laundry room next to the dumpster in a grassy patch. (Very classy...)

Everything a beach relaxing holiday can be. Beautiful warm sea with pelicans and dolphins, lots of excellent restaurants within a few minutes drive, comfortable beach loungers to take the sun on. What more could anyone want?

We have just returned to New York after a visit to Florida! We were very pleased with the Via Roma. Right on the beach and the rooms were very clean. Only one complaint, and that is no place to hang wet clothes outside. In the three days we stayed here nothing would dry inside.The resort should try to make a line for guest to hang towels and also a mat outside each door to wipe feet. We are already making plans to return sometime soon.

Older condo that is exceptionally kept. Beach front location with a pool that is as warm as bath water and also as clean. Grounds and rooms are neat and very nice. Not overly fancy but a super friendly group of people and a wonderful staff that is there to please. Gas grills for cookouts and kitchens for home cooking makes for a great vacation spot. WiFi hookup included for those who need to stay connected. Close to many attractions in Bradanton and Sarasota areas.

This resort is in a great location, directly on the beach and convenient to shops that we need. The room sizes are nice and I love that I can sit out and watch my kids play on the beach while sitting under the covered patio near the pool. The staff are always very friendly as well

I loved how it was in such a good location and on the beach! i met a lot of friends here and I am going again this year to see them again!

We stayed in a one bedroom across the road from the beach and were very happy with the staff and the resort. The pool and surrounding area was well taken care of and the long walks on the beach were just what we needed. We will be back. Older resort but worth your time. Joe & Sandy Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin
