I will be Back, Great Value
By Ivy, 01/29/10
Great Value! I liked the cleanliness of the rooms, newer updated linens nicely decorated. Decent breakfast and very friendly staff. I used to stay at the Comfort Inn next door but will come back here and save the 30 dollar difference! only down side was noisy refridgerator in the room and no safe. Salida is a great town loved going downtown after a day of skiing at Monarch and exporing the shops and eating at Bongo Billy's, Amicas and the country bounty.

Felt like Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/06
I have to say, the people that run this hotel are really exceptional.. The whole time I was there they were completely helpful, always friendly, and with all of that they never "over-did" it. While they were always available for help, they still gave us our space. We came from the east coast on a trip to colorado and these people completely exceeded my expectations. My husband was thinking about going fishing (there is a wonderful river, the Arkansas, nearby) and the husband of the family that ran the Days Inn was always there for advice and even tips for what bait to use! They were very family friendly and even let my son play with their family dog. All I can say is that I felt like I was at home from the minute I got there. ~ Also the rooms were very clean and well-laid out. I was able to sleep comfortably each night~

Very Good Experience
By m, 08/05/05
This is a very small family-run motel that excels in providing very professional and personalized customer service. The motel was very clean, well taken care of, and provided a very good home-cooked continential breakfast. The staff was friendly and very willing to assist in anyway they could. I will definitely stay there again when I return.

A welcome rest-stop
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/05
Our family had been driving from Oklahoma since early morning and we were more than ready to stop for the night. The Days Inn was just what we needed. The management was very friendly and helpful (they even helped us carry our luggage up the stairs). The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast the next morning was not fancy but was plentiful and fresh, and the price of the rooms was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable place to spend the night.
