Great setting, plain guest rooms
They bill themselves as an "Art Deco masterpiece" but I wouldn't put the architecture in THAT league. The halls are long and dark and guest rooms small and completely lacking in view, owing to their deep but relatively narrow lot.
The outdoor landscaping is beautiful, with a patio restaurant, pool, and a picturesque yard on the narrow lot. The beach access is great, and the location can hardly be beat if you want to be near the Deco district. It is an easy walk to Ocean drive, or the Lincoln Drive pedestrian mall.
The restaurant has reasonable food and pricing. Valet parking is available at $25/day, but this is the sort of location where you can do better without a car.
