Luxor Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas

I loved the Luxor. I stayed in the tower rooms and they were very nice. The service is what you expect from a high-end Vegas hotel--Excellent. they were very accommodating and generous with comps. All you really had to do was ask. I stayed here with a group of friend and we had a blast. First lets start with the nightlife. LAX was awesome-I loved the DJ there. We ended up getting bottle service and the waitress was not only attentive, but a lot of fun! they also had a starwars bottle service (that I am guessing some high-roller ordered) but storm troopers and darth vader danced through the crowd and delivered the bottle--SO COOL! Second the FOOD: I am a huge sushi fan and Rice&Co. did not disappoint! plus, being young and on a budget, the foursquare check in that gave me BOGO half off was clutch! Moving onto happy hour Tacos&Tequila is a must do for starters and cocktails. Third Casino: I won & the servers were quite diligent bringing out drinks-so I give it a thumbs up. Fourth Pool: relaxing. exactly what I need after LAX to recover and get my tan on all day. Last but not least--the entertainment: I went to both Bodies and Titanic. I enjoyed both immensely and learned a lot. It was certainly very memorable part of my trip. I also saw Criss Angel. That was very cool and I sat just a few seats from Flavor Flave who apparently frequents BeLIEve. We could have spent our entire trip at Lux and had a great time. I'll definitely be back!

What isn't to like. My experience at the Luxor LV rocked. There are some bad reviews that I do not understand. The staff was amazing, the food was great, the casino was fun, and the clubs rocked. The price point at Luxor is well below many of the other properties on the strip was a huge factor in booking at the Luxor. You can get rooms for under $40.00 sometimes. That is unheard of. Make sure to eat at Rice & Co. as well as Tacos & Tequila I will be back to both of those. The shows and exhibits are a must. Criss Angel, Carrot Top and Fantasy are all based at the Luxor and their exhibits: Titanic and Bodies are so worth the money. I was moved and mind blown. LAX was AMAZING!! The crowd rocks there, and the music beats anywhere else I went. Not all the same music like the other clubs. I HIGHLY recommend Luxor to anyone looking to come to Vegas, have a blast, stay on the strip, and save some money!

Won't stay there again. Vegas is changing and Luxor demonstrates this. "Resort Fee" is an extra 18 dollars there attach each night (being in law, I could spot this NOT being clear, thus the reason they have you sign a statement at check-in. Like you're going to leave after waiting in line? NO wifi, no aide. Even went to Starbucks. They don't even have it (But you can buy a card! Maybe, they didn't real know. I paif for two nights and left after one. OH well... I'm sure they cared. Won't ever do again!!!

I love the Luxor. It is the most fun and the best looking hotel on the entire strip. If you every get lost, just look up at the sky and the light will guide you to the not only the best hotel on the strip but also the most fun on the strip. We arrived midday and had lunch at Tacos and Tequilas (best guacamole ever btw). Then we went to the Bodies and Titanic exhibits. These are both excellent exhibits. Both are engaging and give you a sense of wonder. I never knew the human body was so complex, it put things into perspective. The Titanic exhibit was well above expectations and all of my friends were very jealous I go to see the big piece (an actual piece of the Titanic. It was very surreal. We then went to Rice&Co for dinner. The waiter was the nicest person in the entire world. He was very polite and answered all of our questions as if he were the chef. The food was better than any sushi I have ever eaten. And I have eaten a lot of sushi. The Chris Angel Show was fantastic. I still want to know how he cut the girl in half. Fava Flave was in the house too and a guy from the Dallas Mavericks, I can't remember his name off the top of my head. They sat in the same row as us. It was a really fun act and the doves flying at us was totally unexpected. Great show all around. The bottle service at LAX was superb. The security guard around in our area was so fun. He took our pictures and made sure no one messed with our area. The waitress always kept our cups full and our ice full. Darth Vader made a guest appearance when him and two of his friends served the DJ with bottle. It was a lot of fun and I highly recommend Luxor to anyone traveling in the Vegas area. The pool was a lot of fun. There were not many people at it while we were there so it was very relaxing. I prefer this type of pool over the party pools. This pool was very clean and just the right temperature in the morning hours. We had to leave to get back home so we could only stay til noon but it was well worth the tan.

Left the car in the hands of the valet and went to our room. Came back in the morning to pick up the car and they couldn't even find our car in the lot. Apparently whomever crashed it also hid it in a different parking spot to cover their tracks. So not only did me and my family wait for a half hour for them to locate our car, they finally located it and brought it out damaged. After a week of not returning our calls, I finally get their representative Neil Jackson on the phone and he says the claim was denied. Nice...crash our car, lose our car then refuse to own up to it. Unbelieveable.

I had a really great experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone going to San Luis Obispo. The room was clean and nice, everyone who worked there was friendly and willing to help. There was also had a great breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Ignore all the morons who are posting all this NEGETIVE stuff about the Luxor. I guess if I lost all my money gambling while i was there(like them) i would be pissed too, haha. Its a great hotel/great location/and great overrall vibe. It hold like 4000 rooms so of course you might have a issue with something there, because its so huge. But i would be staying there again for sure in the future. PS...........Lebron James is a loser and will never win a championship(im from Cleveland).

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff is gracious and get you anything you need. I had to send a fax from the business office and the gentleman working there was very helpful and polite.

Horrible time!! If you want to smell like an ash tray, go to the Luxor. The guest services are slow. The buffet is the worst. Elevator is like a roller coaster. I hate being asked if I could use free tickets to a show if I sit for two hours at a timeshare briefing. Why don't they send that out to the public at their residence to Have the tickes before you go on vacation. Who wants to sit for hours on a vacation ????7

Where do I start. There was blood on the lamp shade next to the bed, something sticky on the table. It gave me the impression that they do not clean the rooms. The service was terrible, from guest service, to bell service, to concierge, to beverage servers, all of them had attitudes, and made me feel like I was burdening them to do their jobs. When I attempted to complain, I was directed to a cashier? Not sure how a cashier could help with a guest service complaint. The buffet "MORE", should be named "NO MORE" because the food was bland and all of the pasta offered was overcooked and mushy, and within in 20 minutes of finishing my meal I was physically sick. Bad service, bad food, dirty rooms. Would not wish my worst enemy to stay here.
