Management has Terrible Customer Service Skills
We changed our room account to have a credit card on it, and my husband ask the employee if there was going to be any surprise charges or if they were going to hold some money, they told him NO. Later on when we were trying to see a show at another hotel, our card was denied. We come to find out that they with-held $300 on our card, which ended up maxing it out and left us stranded at the Rio. We called up the manager, and they explained what happened, but REFUSED to do anything about it. My husband was trying to be nice to her, and when that failed, he gave the phone to me. I argued with the woman for 20 minuets about the fact that her employee did not tell us anything about with-holding any money, at which point the manager told me several times "Well, that's not my problem." Finally she said she would call the bank and have them refund our money and that the hotel would pay for our cab ride back. Well when we got back to the hotel, that particular manager was gone, and the ones that were there did not want to pay for the cab, even though it was after bank hours and the money was not available to us yet. I had to argue with the manager in the hotel for another 10 minuets, before almost causing a scene.
Aside from the Poor management and Terrible customer service, the room was small, hotel restaurants were very over priced and food was bland and mediocre, the bed was hard, and the elevators were confusing. I tell every one i know what a terrible hotel this is, and i do not recommend it for anyone.
