Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel Helsinki, Helsingfors

Clean rooms, very basic, great staff, breakfast buffet, & tram to city centre right outside hotel door. 5 min tram ride & you are in the heart of Helsinki. Would definitely stay there again, great value!

I stayed here with my mum a year or so ago. We only stayed for one night (came in late after a show and left fairly early) so I didn't get a deep feel of the place. But during the quick visit everything was good. The breakfast was excellent. I'm planning on staying there again in December on a weekend break with my fiancé and hope it will prove to be equally pleasant :)

The room only had very small windows by the ceiling and was like a prison cell. The heating did not work (it was November :((( ), so we got moved to another room, which also did not have normal windows and looked exactly like the other one. :(( Hotel is located outside the city center, you would have to take a tram or walk quite a bit to get to the center. You might have a better experience if you get one of their expensive rooms, but I did not see them.

I have been to this hotel twice now. the first time i was there for 3 days before going to Tallinn in Estonia. unfortunately when i got to Tallinn i was thrown out. we were sent back to Finland so we had to get a room somewhere. we went back to seaside and they were ver helpful and we stayed there a further 3 nights and then went to a small town in northern finland called Vaasa (very strange place). 2nd visit was just as good and as a bonus i got to Tallinn and was allowed in. while you are in helsinki you should get a boat across to suomenlinna. its a very interesting place. the hotel is a bit out of the way but its very peaceful and lovely. also, the restaurant is very nice.

This is the best hotel I have been ever!!! The service was really good and the rooms were clean and very nice. Beds were really soft. Bathroom was also tidy.

I have stayed in so many hotels but this one was special. Our room 408 is just delightful.Its large and super modern, amazing lights,slimline couches in white..very chic!! It just has a great feel to it...very stylish. Must Do: Hire private sauna room on top floor. Very expensive but wow you will have a fabulous experince.The two hours was enough time to experience the Finnish way of life.You have the whole top floor to yourself and can sip vino overloking the harbour. A must for the romantics!!! Dinner : Was poor, bad service and slow.Across the road is a great seafood waterfront restaurant. What to Do : Harbour cruise is a must.Visit Market Square, The Lutheran Catheral, Casino, or shop through the many wonderful streets of Helsinki. Overall Raddison by the sea is fabulous, a little out of town but just catch the tram 6 it takes 5mins. We loved Helsinki as a city...its very European, modern and stylish and the people are incredibily friendly and helpful.
