The hotel is one mile from an underground exhibition coal mine, four miles from Crossroads Mall, and 15 miles from the Winterplace Ski Resort. The hotel is within walking distance of Bob Evan's and Texas Steakhouse. Not high santitaion

I found hair on 2 of 4 pillows in my room and hair in my tub. Window leaked cold air and heater was LOUD! The water drain pipes in the walls were loud in my room enough to wake me. Overall, bldg is very beat up and needs remodeling. No exercise room either.

fantastic

rooms are great, clean, and very nice and updated. we will stay everytime we are in beckley. the front desk staff, larry, cindy sam, becky, tammy, melissa are all fantastic. the housekeeping staff does an incredible job at keeping the rooms clean. the white douvees are great, the hot breakfast is very good.
 
 
 
 
 
Okay place

Great location. Right off the highway. Could walk across paking lot to several places to eat. The hallways were NOT air conditioned. You pretty much walked as quickly as possible to get to your room and the A/C.(on hot day) My sheets were yellowed and didn't match the somewhat white sheets. It made the bed seem dirty, looking at it BUT it was actually clean. Pillows were great, big and soft. The bed was very good also. The bathroom countertop area was small and kinda cramped compared to what some other hotel chains have. Cont.breakfast included Been to better places but been to worse also.

Nice clean room & great location!

The Hampton Inn is in a great location. It is close to many different types of restaurants, gas stations, hospitals, and interstates. Most of the restaurants are within walking distance. Our room was very clean. They even left the light and air conditioning on for us. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. It also had a nice breakfast area with hot food! We highly recommend this hotel, it is one of the nicer ones we have ever stayed at.

Just okay.....

Good location, lots of restaurants near by and close to 2 different Interstates, but the air conditioner wouldn't cool the whole room since we couldn't get it past low speed. This was July 4th weekend which was Very Hot so we would not go back. In all fairness to them though, we should have said something to them about it but after lugging everything up to the 3rd floor and getting into our bed clothes we were too tired to change rooms (7/4, probably didn't have anymore rooms available anyway), also, we just kept hoping it would eventually cool off. Comfortable beds but didn't like their bed pillows, that's a matter of preference though.
